The Dude family took a little trip down to the Bryce Canyon National Park/Coral Pink Sand Dunes are this week. We had a great time despite my right ankle being all buggered. I got some nice photos and wanted to share. Please feel free to comment or critique my photos.

ATV tour at Coral Pink Sand Dunes.










Mrs. Dude, Little Dude, and Nana Dude in a slot canyon. About 10 minutes after this photo it started raining hard and rained for the remainder of the last hour and a half of the ATV ride. Good thing we left when we did, because that slot canyon probably turned into a flash flood zone.

This is a little town on the road to Coral Pink Sand Dunes. This restaurant and inn was a frequent haunt of my Grandparents when they would travel down that way so we stopped for lunch. Really good food and the building has an awesome 1930's Route 66 look to it, because that's about when it was built.




This is Moqui Cave. It has a large collection of fluorescing minerals.

Right?! I wish I had a room full of them and a grand number of black lights and a jokebox. It would be like a rave, except for no rave drugs, lasers, fog machines, or shitty electronica music.
