Lads, I found some old Sonichu redesigns I did nearly a year ago. Felt they were worth posting here. Go ahead and post some of your own redesigns, I'd love to see them.
The man, the myth the legend.
Decided to make him an Emolga instead of a Pikachu because it was tough to churn out a decent Pikachu-based design.
Tried to make her more Raichu-esque, and made her outfit less like Amy Rose. Replaced a fair amount of pink with orange to separate her from Amy as well.
Decided to make him a Houndoom instead of a Pikachu, it fits him better. You can't see it in the pic because I cropped it weird, but his shoes have little skulls on them.
Made him a Shiny Combusken because I'm a sucker for birds in the Sonic style, and I wanted to make him look a little less like Knuckles.
Made him a Simisage, because I don't believe I've seen a monkey in Sonic and I thought it would be interesting. That said, I'm not a Sonic fan, so I could be totally wrong about that. Also, I changed his name to Herb because he isn't a Pikachu anymore.
Turned him into a Kadabra to fit the Psychic motif better, and changed his name, because I thought Magi-Chan was :autism:. Kept the weird vest jacket thing though, although I changed its design a little; to me, it's what makes Magi-Chan, Magi-Chan.
Made her a Vaporeon, and scrapped pretty much everything about her original design so I could go full throttle with the redesign. Whoops. I kinda like the result, though.
This one was actually the first redesign I did in this series, so you can tell I didn't have the Sonic style down quite right. Oops. Either way, I made her a Togetic to fit the angel motif, and because Togetic's spikes remind me of Sonic's quills. Also gave her a little bell because I thought it was cute.
Might make some more later, I kinda miss making these.
