No, it's poorly written because of how the whole thing is handled. The main problem is that Mr. Krabs has little to no remorse and suffers practically no consequences for what he did.
What Enter needs to learn is that not everything has to have a moral. Life isn't fair sometimes.Just like real life!
To the MLP audience, every character has to learn a lesson by the end of the episode
Did you ever think that maybe "people sometimes get away with doing bad things to other people" was the moral of the story? Or do you have a CWC-like opinion that cartoon characters are real therefore nothing bad can happen to them?
I think it is so that the Enterbots and anyone on tumblr won't be "triggered" by his reviews. It's literally fucking pandering to his SJW fans when you think about it.I can't find a picture of this, so I put the quote in the title.
Those who've watched a decent amount of TheMysteriousMrEnter videos must have seen this label at least once.
My question is, did any of the episodes with this warning actually scare you?
None of them really scared me, personally, although I was appalled at Seahorse Seashell Party.
My theory is that he thinks his audience consists of small children. Between his fear of slight unpleasantness to everything needing a moral it makes sense. Maybe he just doesn't realize his audience are people laughing at him (for all the wrong reasons) and nerds way too old to give a shit about kiddie shit.I think it is so that the Enterbots and anyone on tumblr won't be "triggered" by his reviews. Had he been around a decade or two earlier, he certainly wouldn't have been a fan of Nickelodeon's popular show in the 80's, You Can't Do That On Television ("Who do you think's in the burger?")yet in this video in which Mr.Enter ADDS sick stuff he did not put a warning on (the link is time stamp note it is pretty unpleasantne)
He may even make a snarky commentary that's still better than the educational systemGetting slimed because you don't know something would be too mean-spirited for him.
But that's how they rolled!Getting slimed because you don't know something would be too mean-spirited for him.
The teacher's constant catch phrase at the end of those segments still ring pretty true to me.He may even make a snarky commentary that's still better than the educational system
Yes, it's from from his viewpoint anyway (the Nick of my youth was devoid of domestic toonage as it was often foreign aquistions from all over, preferably Europe).Would he even say anything about You Can't Do That On Television? It was live-action (IIRC; all I saw of it was the Nostalgia Critic's review of old Nick shows).
I loved You Can't do that on Television (mainly because it was shown alot to so YTV could met Canadain content guidelines.) now I just feel old@Trilby: I've never met anyone who can remember Nickelodeon from before the Nicktoons came along.
I don't think he'd say anything about it. I knew about it back when I was a kid; but I knew it because Nick admitted that was the source of the green slime that's become synonymous with the network.
I'm sure I'm one of the older (if not oldest) members of this forum. I recall a day when cable TV was like this red-headed stepchild nobody wanted anything to do with, but all it took was for a mom to merely plop you in front of the 21" CRT monitor and go about her day. At least that's how I view my early life.@Trilby: I've never met anyone who can remember Nickelodeon from before the Nicktoons came along.
They have to, at least because they're still using that stuff.I don't think he'd say anything about it. I knew about it back when I was a kid; but I knew it because Nick admitted that was the source of the green slime that's become synonymous with the network.
Ironically the US had more of a head-start on the show than Canada did before YTV began, the show barely got traction in Canada through CTV before then.I loved You Can't do that on Television (mainly because it was shown alot to so YTV could met Canadain content guidelines.) now I just feel old![]()
Change in management, that's all it took (also a change in companies as Nick and MTV use to be WB's bitch back then).@Trilby: How does one go from being approved by the NEA to Ren and Stimpy in under a decade?
Nope. Not a single one.
