Agreeing with everyone here, it's genuinely pretty good. My only complaint is that the sound feels really muffled or low... Like, every character sounds like they're talking through a radio, even face-to-face with each other. It's a minor nitpick since you can hear everybody clearly, just kinda off.
That's exactly why it sounds the way it does. It's intentional.I got the impression that the sound is like that to hearken back to 80s style cartoons where the sound was kinda washed out because tv speakers weren't exactly the best. Certainly gave me that nostalgic pang, at least.
You have to be to hire Alison Rapp.lmao Nintendo is going to DMCA this because they're consistently fuckheads
I kinda got a Filmation vibe out of that personally, the voices in shows like He-Man often sounded like that.I got the impression that the sound is like that to hearken back to 80s style cartoons where the sound was kinda washed out because tv speakers weren't exactly the best. Certainly gave me that nostalgic pang, at least.
It would be sad to see it go, I enjoyed what was done on the first episode and love to see where they take it.Now to pray that Nintendo doesn't strike this show down with their copyright. (Which probably won't happen, I do know though that Starfox: The Animated Series was renamed to A Fox In Space for this very reason) It'd be sad to see all this work go down the drain.
