A few songs that make me blubber like a baby sometimes. Mainly because of junk that happened when I was younger - powerlevel stuff and all that nonsense.
If you're a male born within the last 2000 years, and this song doesn't instill a sense of melancholy in you, there's something fundamentally wrong with you.
The lyrics get me every time
Did I post anything by Loreena McKennitt yet? If I have to choose 5 desert island albums, McKennitt's The Book of Secrets would always make the list. The album An Ancient Muse is not quite as strong, but I'd feel bad to leave behind this heart-warming song:

Take me with you cross this land.
This is a Black Sabbath song.
Could this band have gone in another direction?
That thought gives me some feels.
Luigi Nono's "Ricorda cosa ti hanno fatto in Auschwitz" is near the top of the list of music to avoid if you're suicidal, and the only piece of art that even comes halfway close to describing how horrific its subject matter was
Incredibly disturbing and poignant.
Luigi Nono is probably the only member of the Italian avant-garde that can be said to have a distinctive voice (instead of being shadows of the Darmstadt orthodoxy); his expert crafting of music tension allows even a mezzoforte to sound like a heart-rending scream. I'm not a fan of his politicalizing though.
