Sonichu Sonichu headcanons and speculation -

Decided to create a thread for speculating on the comic and for posting headcanons about why some things are the way they are in the comics.

I said this in another thread, but my favorite headcanon is that Magi-chan is secretly undermining their doofus of a mayor. Evidence: Magi-chan is in charge of detecting and busting homosexuals yet no one actually ever gets in trouble for having the sweet, sensual gay sex that makes our world a happier place. And after being sent to the future to discover a 'cure' for homosexuality, Magi-chan also sabotaged the vaccine. After all, how else would you explain two of Sonichu's groinspawn becoming a lesbian and bisexual in the future?

Reldnahc only appeared to be 'cured' because Magi-chan gave Chris the vial that would strip him of his Anchuent Prophecy powers. Chris, being a doofus, assumed that Reldnahc became an evil superpowered hedgehog because he was gay rather than being blasted with eldritch dark energies -- thus he was easy to fool regarding this.

I think Allison Amber pissed off a big name in movies (perhaps a director who was sore that she didn't want to be in a movie of his) and he called in some favors here and there and before she knew what was happening to her she had an "exciting" new "career opportunity" as a Mayor's Aide.

My headcanon goes that Simonchu killed his sister Simonla knowing that she had been corrupted by the Sonichu Balls. Knowing it was a matter of time before she'd evolve into a corrupt beast that would leave half of cwcvile destroyed. He did it the way he could without seeing his sister's face, a toilet voltrob bomb. He pulled the trigger with no tears and no regrets, knowing he did what was the best choice for all. now bed for me

Allison Amber came to Hollywood expecting to make it big, but ended up doing a couple pornos to pay the rent. These movies got bigger than she thought, she knew she'd never find legitimate work, and moved to CWCville. Chris recognized her from his spank bank and hired her on as the co-mayor despite her having zero qualifications. She then made up having a boyfriend so he wouldn't try to fuck her.

Sonichu and Rosechu are only the first recorded electric hedgehogs because everyone else was smart enough not to come forward with a new sentient species because they knew they'd be investigated by the government/Pokemon police. Kel was just a kid and didn't know any better so she blabbed to Professor Oak, and suddenly her Rosechu now more belongs to Mayor Christian instead of her.

Jamsta, Lolisa, Zelina, and Darkbind were actually humans who were transformed into Sonichus. Hence why, despite being older than the other Sonichus, nobody had ever heard of the species.

Punchy secretly hates Sonichu for getting the species named after him, despite living in public long before Sonichu had.

RuleCWC practices child marriages. Hence why he's been searching for the Crystals for 10 years, but he would have only been around ~22 when the comics were happening. Since he planned to propose before she went into her slumber, that means he planned to propose at the age of 12 to a 9 year old.

I kind of like to think Angelica and Magi-chan are sort of bizarre symbols for the real world. I have this weird idea in my head that both Magi-chan and Angelica realize that they are creations within a world but Angelica really does believe in God so she believes there is a way to escape their hellish existence and with Magi-chan's poorly defined powers they might be able to escape the fiendish man-child.

I kind of like to think Angelica and Magi-chan are sort of bizarre symbols for the real world. I have this weird idea in my head that both Magi-chan and Angelica realize that they are creations within a world but Angelica really does believe in God so she believes there is a way to escape their hellish existence and with Magi-chan's poorly defined powers they might be able to escape the fiendish man-child.

I like to think the same thing, but that it's hopeless, as the God she believes in turns out to be Barb, the only force stronger than Chris, as she was able to get him to stop the sub-episodes. It also explains why Bob founded a city and named it after Chris. It was always meant to be an area to contain the almighty manchild.

Several franchises' worth of heroes have failed in their tasks, resulting in miscreants like Team Rocket having free reign. CWCville has a population willing to put up with Chris as God-Mayor purely due to the raw strength of him and his idiot Sonichu army, which ensure that CWCville may be a shithole, but it's one where the bad guys can be reliably kept out.

Presumably the rest of CWCville's Earth has fallen into a loose chain of "burbclaves" (a la Snow Crash) kept afloat only by their local cartoon heroes and self-inserts, and by horrendously over-powered megacorporations whose holdings are effectively miniature countries (and thus why they are "regions" and not just "stores").

I'm under the belief that the reason why CWCville can get away with so much within the U.S. is because there's literally no other place to go besides CWCville, due to some apocalyptic event destroying much of the world and leaving it an inhospitable wasteland. In fact, perhaps Chris would probably have been the one who saved CWCville and its surrounding areas from the apocalypse, since that would explain why everyone is so willing to let him be mayor for life. Of course, little would anyone know that Chris himself was the harbinger of much of the earth's destruction. Why would he do that? To ensure that nobody would interfere with his creation. It's too bad that a few people like Mary Lee Walsh and Graduon managed to survive, otherwise this plan would have been 100% effective.

Damn, that was basically what my stance on what CWCville was. My idea is that Sonichu is set in a post-apocalyptic world. After a terrible nuclear war, the resulting radiation caused a bunch of mutated animals (IE, the pokemon that appear in the strip, the titular hedgehog abominations, etc) to appear. In addition, most civilized nations collapsed, hence why CWCville is so bizarrely un-American in spite of ostensibly being in America.

Chris is basically a ruthless despot who's managed to form his own kingdom out of the rubble. As force of arms is the only way to maintain order in the wasteland, he employs his personal squad of mutated thugs to deal with any insurrectionists and raiders (IE, Mary Lee Walsh, the Jerkops, etc). None of his citizens are alarmed by his draconian policies because the alternative is living in the chaos of the wastes and that's way worse.

Other than that, I also like to speculate that Alison Amber and Magi-Chan among others are planning to stage a coup. They both hold a great deal of political clout in CWCville and are shown to be far more competent and hard-working than Chris is. It wouldn't be that difficult to dispose of Chris under the pretense of him being unable to rule.

I like to think that CWCVille's "soup hotels" have become like the infamous Pruitt-Igoe public housing projects; ridiculously run-down due to neglect and so populated with criminals that even the police and firemen of CWCVille don't dare go near it, while terrible planning keeps the homeless people there for good as they expunge most of their tugboat just to keep staying there.

In a related theme, I like to think that anyone who could get out of CWCVille did (sort of like the "white flight" of St. Louis around the time Pruitt-Igoe was being built), and that's why the streets are always empty and Chris can simply run around doing jack-shit without riots breaking out every five seconds.

Piggybacking off the "apocalyptic world" theory though, one could say that CWCVille was once indeed Ruckersville, but was usurped by Bob during the war as the American government crumbled. This could explain why CWCVille is so much like Ruckersville, while still somehow not being so. Parts fell, others rose, and eventually we get our happy little dystopia.

I liked the CWCki's speculation that the nuns that raised Angelica were actually adult fetish models, hence them never actually teaching her that things like masturbating in church and premarital sex were against the Lord's word.

Personally, I've always imagined Chris as a powerful, mentally unstable sorcerer, with PVCC swearing an eternal oath to protect the rest of the world from his wrath. Based on the frequent and sudden appearance of characters, Chris can create drones to do his bidding seeming out of thin air. However, none of them actually have free will, so, while any females he conjures can't disobey him, they can't genuinely love him. Additionally, none of the villains ever seem to try to kill Chris, but rather to keep him contained and distracted. Director Amenities was a glimpse into the chaos Chris would cause if his actions went unchecked.

Chris subconsciously willed himself into the time void so he could meet his wife. The energy from the Time Void is what made him Colossal, the energy radiated to Sonichu, making him ultra. It was their power that saved Crystal, Zelina, and the asperchus.
When the energy from the Time Void was used up, they reverted back to simply Sonichu and Chris.
That's why they've never became those forms again despite no evidence the Sonichu balls were destroyed.

Now I'm imagining mashups of Sonichu and The Raid/District B-13.

The Sonichu Balls work like Dragon Balls, so it can be assumed that they dispersed around the world once they were used. Of course, a better question is, what about Darkbind? Clearly he wanted the Sonichu Balls for his own reasons, what happened to him?

Oh yeah, I forgot, this was never about the Sonichus anyway.
