They're going by current after market prices, I never paid that much and even then it was easy to find them discounted from anywhere from 25% to 50% off.

But now everyone fucking hyped up the Vita and PS3 and shit is still super expensive. You have some PS3 games now in the realms that were formerly occupied by stuff only from the SNES, Neo Geo, PC Engine and the last days of Sega Saturn.

I was shooting the shit with a gamestop manager I’ve known for years yesterday. Apparently they haven’t gotten a single ps5 or Xbox X in the store since launch. I know that there’s a chip shortage but jesus christ. Right when games that look interesting start coming out and I get a fat tax refund too…

That's weird, I got my Xbox from gamestop, though it was through All Access not at the store itself. Maybe they're only getting allotments for the Xbox through that. Only reason I can think of that they wouldn't be getting PS5s is if all the stock is going to Target/Walmart/etc. I find it hard to believe they wouldn't send any to Gamestop.

I don't even get why people hype the Vita when its own games are shit and everything else it does an android emulation portable or even a phone can do readily now. Hell I see more appeal in using a PSP than a Vita for any of that and the longterm costs on it outweight the Vita by now thanks to age and lack of good batteries.

There were a few good exclusives like Tales of Hearts R, Severed and a a lot of stuff that took eons to be ported Elsewhere like Trails of Cold Steel 1 and 2, persona 4 Golden, and Gravity Rush.

Then there's a lot of visual novels which are non-games.

Ps5 came in. Ratchet and Clank unironically looks and plays great. For all the shit Sony pulls of late they do still have some gems. I’ve heard Astro’s Playroom is actually a decent platformer too.

So I decided to sell my PS4 since I haven't played it in over a year and I have absolutely no interest in anything coming out.

Why, exactly, does it take like four hours to factory reset a PS4? I deleted literally everything off of it but apparently I have to factory reset it to get my profile off of it. It told me 4 hours which I assumed was if you didn't delete all your save data and such, but sure as shit this thing is really taking 4 hours to factory reset.
