Dreams never took off mostly because all these game creator games never really seem to work, It's like for something to work in the ideal way you need to turn Programs like Maya, 3ds max, Unity, Unreal, Zbrush into character and object creator systems and you can't then go and dumb that down to the point where it's like a game itself. It's like trying to cram an elephant through a beer funnel. There's too much things that rely on skills like sculpting and coding.Did Dreams flop? You could tell they thought Dreams was going to be the biggest thing since sliced bread but it seems like it came and went, so I wouldn't be surprised if Media Molecule goes next.
Seems like it flopped. Never really see anything about it except the one off articles and videos that pop up every 4 months or so.Did Dreams flop? Is that still available to buy on the PS3 PSN? Because I know it never got a physical release in the US.Siren: New Translation is a pretty good, streamlined reimagining of the original.

Most of the stuff i saw on dreams was *ahem* fanworks of things that maybe the Sony Devs shouldn't have. Like Nintendo properties.
One of the only recent creator games that had any lasting appeal was Mario Maker.
There's also RPG Maker.little big planet. whole reason dreams even exist.
See i vaguely remember the walkthrough for it in Tips and Tricks magazine but like.....whats it aboutFucking Siren is the most underrated and under appreciated horror series out there, eat shit and die sony.
I liked Patapon a bunch, but I just like Rhythm games generally. It's a real shame they're getting fucked over because they made some of Sonys more off the wall games.Where my Patapon niggas at? Also fuck Snoy
if anyone here is hankering for a great rhythm game check out Thumper.
That always struck me as wishful thinking and too good to be true, even though I desperately wanted to believe it.What happened with those rumors that Sony was interested in buying Konami IP's like Metal Gear, Silent Hill, and Castlevania?
It'd be nice if they were just freeing up budget for that but I'll rate myself optimistic on that one, plus they'd fuck them up too somehow.
A small rural village in the middle of nowhere in Japan and something freaky has happened that resulted in the villagers becoming zombie like creatures is the basic setup.See i vaguely remember the walkthrough for it in Tips and Tricks magazine but like.....whats it about
The PS2 era was absolutely video game's peak, the medium was just on fire back then. These guys were also responsible for Ico and Shadow of the Colossus, since Team Ico was part of Japan Studio. Team Ico shut down back in 2011, but even so it sucks that the studio that helped create two of the most majestic video games ever made gets closed down. The fact that these games were made at all under Japan Studio is a testament to how important they were since I highly doubt many studios, especially these days, would ever allow such auteur concepts to be released as mainstream video games.

Don't be so sure, he left Team Ico to form his own company, GenDesign, which itself is made up of former Team Ico alumni. They even announced a new project in 2018.So I guess that means we won't be anything new from Ueda then.
Gravity Rush 1 was a pretty damn cool game.....never got around to playing 2, which is one of my biggest gaming regrets. Still have to watch the anime, funny enough. RIP Kat.RIP Gravity Rush
Shoulda seen this coming after the multiplayer servers of 2 were axed a year after release
Yeah, I've only played 2, but it's seriously a shame that it doesn't seem like it's at least getting a trilogy remaster ala Crash and Spyro, because it was legit great. Then I hear that 3 was even better.....definitely emulating it someday. No, not Ape Escape!
