This is a misconception. Nintendo never censored in the first place. That whole thing was because all their biggest stuff was typically first party. Nintendo always put its games first and it never really used sex or gore in its games.

It doesn't have a problem with either, its just that Nintendo doesn't really focus as much on third parties as much as their own games which don't have those themes and they don't really want them. They don't care if the third party games have them, though.

as of right now, ps5 is dead because no can buy it. this is likely gonna change once availability increases, but we're still in an economic downturn which makes more people think twice if they need a new console that plays the same games they can already play on their ps4. gonna have to wait and see how it plays out, but at the moment the only thing you ever hear anyone say about ps5 is "I can't get one".

They're all going to be subject to weird cultural norms that sound plausible but once you write them down on paper for a one size fits all policy strange shit happens.
