Yeah, he was Flanderized, but he hasn't changed much. He's still the same character.

No you missed my point. My point was why bitch and moan about something that won't change no matter how much you bitch? Show is obviously successful as is. You think goofs like you are going to change that? So why bother getting all pissy about it when you can just watch something else that doesn't upset you? Or, once again, get better taste. But I still have the right, as a consumer, to complain, no matter what comes out of my complaints. You seem to think I get more upset over FG than I actually do. Family Guy has sucked since it's inception. 13 seasons in it's on you for still watching it. On a side note watching it on Hulu, I'm sure the people behind Family Guy appreciate you monetarily supporting the show.

No, it actually started out at least decent. Had some problems, but it wasn't nearly as bad as it is now. They're not going to lose much if I stop supporting it, I'm just one person out of millions of viewers.

Can a character mostly be made of horrible traits and still be good? I believe so. If one said that a character's only trait at all being "[he/she] is funny" made them "probably not funny and not actual characters", then I'd agree, but he says "redeeming trait" as though he's talking about a real person.

There's a difference between objectively horrible traits (like "lazy", for example) and subjective traits like those I mentioned. I think he was more so talking about your former description, meaning only real trait (my quote isn't the exact wording BTW).
