Speaking of the Three Gorges Dam, there's an hashtag about it on Twitter. https://twitter.com/hashtag/ThreeGorgesDam
Add the nuclear plants located in the Yangtze river valley and Fukushima will be nothing compared to this upcoming disaster.

And there's a vlog of around 30 minutes about the Three Gorges Dam who might be worth to check an eye.
FFS what a fucking moron boomer. Just turn off "3D Buildings" and you can see the actual sat images. Google puts 3D buildings on a lot of shit especially well known buildings. It's not some conspiracy, it's literally an easy to see setting.

I don't think the guy's a PRC shill, it's just that he hates hypocrisy, I guess?

I'm kind of lost in this conversation, I just know that the PRC isn't going to fire any shots, and this won't turn into WW3. People getting their hopes up are going to have them dashed again.
In the framing of geopolitics and human development, hypocrisy is a stupid thing to get hung up on and international lol is bullshit for poor countries and the weak. The fact of the matter is that the United States is a better steward for human development over time than the People's Republic of China and any and all actions against the PRC to limit their power and castrate their ambitions is a positive outcome for humanity. The United States will make some mistakes but at least there you have some hope of accountability and in the longer arc of history your people will eventually get something good out of it and also be allowed to complain about your master's wrongs to your master. You've got no better deal yet in human history and I promise you that a Communist isn't going to offer you more than equality in dirt.

The people in America's conquered territories would be dicking around in the mud and dying of malaria and tribal reprisals were it not for the United States. And the same goes for most other places that the USA has visited. We get your ass out of the mud and put you on a playing field where unequal members of the global society can yet work together to create a better world for us all; which includes the uplift of lesser societies into greater societies. It is a golden opportunity to take, even if it costs generations. Lord knows the Americans spent generations shoveling lives into the fire to build a more equal and qualitative society.

We're not living in some storybook; we live on a tiny speck of dust in the middle of a yawning void and somehow we've managed to accrue some comforts and make progress beyond our limited scope. You don't achieve that without losing some lives and for all of its flaws America isn't intentionally trying to kill and marginalize people solely for its own benefit. But others do and others will if the United States allows them to.

There's something to be said in response to this statement about the amount of shit the CIA has gotten up to, let alone the current state of certain parts of the world that the U.S. turns a blind eye towards.

But, mainly I wanted to make the point that China isn't going to go to war with the U.S. Not over this, anyway. They've only been so adamant because they've skated on their bullshit in the SCS for so long, not because they're convinced they'd win if they were to go to war over their bullshit claims.

Spies are subhuman scum. But it is noteworthy that places the USA ignores are not doing very well or mired in one oppressive horror show after another.

The sooner the United States completely embargoes the People's Republic of China, the better.

Replies are claiming Trump is "trying to start a war to distract from failures here".

Not a week after RussiaGate Part 3: Bounty Boogalee.

If Trump was Putin's cuck why couldn't Putin just get Trump to remove troops?

But then, why would Trump attack a state (Syria) that Russia supports if he is a puppet?

Isn't, Trump also trying to profit from whatever China properties he has?

Why would he want to start a war?

You're making the mistake that the TrumPutin meme isn't just the left needing an Emmanuel Goldstein to blame for their hubris in 2016.

Between the wuflu, tariffs, flooding and now this how long into this decade do you think we get before China implodes?
Idk. People have been saying China is going to implode for decades now. If not WuFlu or Flooding, it was their housing market when they kept building skyscrapers and malls just for them to remain empty. China needs to be knocked down several hundred pegs. The Chinese are cockroaches. They've servived for several thousands years without dying off.

Difference is global opinion of them is probably at the lowest it's been for decades.

It’s been interesting to see the total reverse ferret the media has done in the uk on China. Last year, only sycophancy. Now we are getting daily articles on the need to remove them from our 5G network, Blaming them outright for corona and talking about how they’ve infiltrated the Establishment via networking clubs. It’s quite astonishing to see.
I suspect those in the know now have absolutely concrete evidence that the virus was a lab leak and that this is a trickle down from on high. It suggests a significant change in how the government is dealing with them
And now the US tells them to fuck off out of the SCS. *general melchett laugh*

couldnt happen to a nicer country. May the backlash be interesting.

Yeah, I got a big slap in the face with that as well today. Another script that was flipped. Another directive sent out.

WE HAVE ALWAYS BEEN AT WAR WITH CHINA.

There were about four or five anti-China articles on the front page of the beeb and in the mail as well. Not seen that before. Seems there's been a bit of a sea change in foreign policy and they're just being polite and letting the plebs and cattle know the right way to think.

They are getting more blatant and boisterous in their propaganda, either because they are getting desperate or because they know they have a tight grip on 'public thinking' - not sure which one it is. Bad either way.

Anyway, it was definitely noticable. Glad I wasn't the only that picked up on it. Sometimes you think you are going mad, or just seeing shadows...

The brits are sending 'ships' as well it would seem -

Big Lizzie will confront China: £3bn aircraft carrier HMS Queen Elizabeth 'will be deployed to the Far East to take part in military drills with US and Japan'

And the chinks ain't too happy about it all -

China accuses the US of 'invading other countries' territory at will' and 'sailing through the world like a bully' amid escalating South China Sea row as Britain and Japan 'prepare to join Far East military drills'

we live on a tiny speck of dust in the middle of a yawning void

Well, ackshually...

Earth and its parent galaxy are living in a cosmic desert — a region of space largely devoid of other galaxies, stars and planets, according to a new study.

The findings confirm the results of a previous study based on observations taken in 2013. That previous study showed that Earth's galaxy, the Milky Way, is part of a so-called cosmic void.

The cosmic void that contains the Milky Way's is dubbed the Keenan, Barger and Cowie (KBC) void, after the three astronomers who identified it in the 2013 study. It is the largest cosmic void ever observed — about seven times larger than the average void, with a radius of about 1 billion light-years, according to the study.

It's the biggest observable void in the whole of the known universe and we happen to be just about slap bang in the center of it. No wonder we haven't had any aliens to rescue us yet.

Further research needed.
