I feel bad to the veteran voice actors who studio hacks replace in favor of generic celebrity voice acting. The only veteran voice actor that I can think of who this has not happen too is Jim Cummings.

I don't care about the movie but I do care about design. This is shitty design. These aren't monsters. They're cosplayers. Lazy cosplayers too broke and uncreative to even attempt to convince the (young) viewer that inhuman monsters from the stories walk among us. Compare them to the Monstars:
You can see features of their celebrity voices in their faces and body types but they're exaggerated enough that you wouldn't guess who they are, basketball fan or not. You just saw scary cool monsters. Which is the fucking point. Unless you hate the people in the Goon Squad, seeing Bugs and friends pummel them in basketball looks boringly out of place. Especially since they're all minorities and that matters for retarded reasons now haha.
