...And those are all of the women that I've seen. Frame Fatales is a blessing and a curse, there's nothing worse than clicking through and hearing some lisping faggot taking air time away from actual women.

In terms of actually entertaining runs from last year, the only one that I really enjoyed was Ettaket's Let's Go Evee run. The Poke nerds really know their shit, and there was audience participation, donation trains, and lots of ribbing of the runner and audience. I'm a Pokemon autist (obviously) but this was a really fun run even if you're not familiar with the series, just because of the energy of the crowd and the runner. And they make lots of money for the charities, which is nice.

I know it's the point of these events but the constant donation announcements are so fucking irritating. Just put them on a ticker on the screen or something and let the runners talk about the run. I'm more interested in hearing about technical aspects of the run than "my grandma died of cancer here's five dollars save the animals" 1000 times.

I remember those two from previous GDQs, specifically because they sounded like they had fun being there playing and explaining Tomb Raider. So many other runners go full game-goth and act miserable instead of explaining what the fuck is happening.

I think most people have probably gotten out all of their speedrun gossip needs in the Apollo Legend thread. Without the crowds it's just not nearly as entertaining and you won't find random fucks ruining the couch like some of the other times since the runners are going to just have a friend or two they know really well commentating.
Hopefully SGDQ will be an in person event, but that's something that is

I've only been following along this year by watching the uploaded YouTube VODs, but it's been surprisingly decent thus far. Granted, I'm not watching every single run, but the ones I have watched have run the gamut between good to tolerable. Only really intolerable run I tried to watch and gave up on was Metroid: Zero Mission because the runner's connection was so dogshit that the gameplay feed/webcam was either constantly cutting out or running like a Powerpoint presentation.

This online event format is a lot better, all things considered.

But, how the fuck did this Ledgehop game get in? I had to go look up the vod instantly. A vtuber who made the game running it himself as kind of a self-promotion deal. Didn't even have his oppression tier tag after his name. Wonder who he knows...

For the group, how did "Frame Fatales", a meh name, become "Fleet Fatales", which is worse. Did they figure 'femme' was anti-trans somehow?

If you need a training wheels mod, then maybe you aren't the person that should be showcasing the fucking game. As much as I didn't enjoy the Tetris showcases they put on a couple of years ago, I was able to appreciate that the players were truly and legitimately good at something that is lightyears from my level of skill. Any asshole can install a mod and flail like a fucking retard to the beat of music.
