Anybody here interested in the latest ink based shooter from Nintendo? I played the beta last Saturday and I enjoyed it a lot.

Intermittent Denial of Service attack is causing downtime. Looks like a kiddie 5 min rental. Waiting on a response from upstream.
I am kind of excited and had fun with last weeks splatfest, I like that the ultimates are all new since it changes a lot in the game but I just hope the Aerospray doesn't dominate like it seemed to do in the first Splatoon, it's nice to see a variety of weapons being used.
Well, considering that the aerospray has already been needed in splatoon 1, we should be good. I still need to get used to the new jetpack special however.

That voice chat setup is fucking ridiculous. It looks like it'd be far easier to just forward the audio to a desktop via line in and use discord than use that external splitter and broken-ass app, and even then it's still totally convoluted.
Even the PSP-3000 released nearly a decade ago had a mic that worked just fine, wtf were Ninty thinking?

It isn't Nintendo unless they make you buy extra physical shit to play one game to its best.
The horde mode is a lot of fun, although so far it seems like it only has one map
So far what kills me isn't the lack of maps, it's that you only play on 2 for a few hours, then it switches to another set. Plus what map is picked is random so you can end up on the same map with mostly the same people 6 times in a row. Unlike counter strike where everybody just votes the same 2 maps every round.
But it is very fun and the online is well done. Less laggy than dark souls pvp. Huge fan of the paint brush in online.

Fucking hell Salmon Run is fun, but getting a team that won't get their heads out of their ass is frustrating as fuck.

Nothing quite beats the feeling of playing 3rd round with the high tide, and knowing that somebody is not using their splashdown super

Aerospray is good in turf war and nothing else
All you need to do to defeat an Aerospray user is stand in front of them because the aim is all over the place
I got disconnected TWICE by the network and I got a message about being banned FOREVER the next time it happens. Great job giving us a wifi only console and then pulling shit like this Nintendo. Other than that I've been enjoying Splatoon 2 so far.
