I don’t know why, but the redesign of the gnorc in one of those pictures looks a little weird to me. The game still looks awesome though.

At least that game wasn't a clusterfuck like the Master Chief Collection, which is why I almost never get hung up about NSane Trilogy's problems, though I do notice them a bit more easily.

Try mashing a bunch of software that was never meant to get clustered together in one unified UI, it's going to fuck shit up (Master Chief Collection). I wonder when the Xbone version of Crash is released.

They're doing some playtesting for the patch at the moment, should fully release later this month.

Anyway, this looks pretty cool, might check it out alongside the Crash remakes when they come out for the Xbox One.

Well, it's been verified that the original voice actor for Spyro from some of the earlier games is making a reprise in the Reignited version, so it's possible that other voice actors might be in the rafters. I'm keen to see how this pans out, though I do hope we'll get word on whether or not it will be heading to the PC market at some point.

After that horrendous Skylanders game(s?) and the ones just prior where they were trying to turn Spyro into some bootleg version of God of War, I am more than eager to just see them make an about-face and return to making the Spyro games that basically 99% of their fucking audience has been wanting for the last decade and a half, anyways.

I really look forward to Crash coming to the Switch, so if this comes to the Switch as well, I might pick it up.

That was The Eternal Night. I never played that one, but the entire TLOS trilogy was regarded as mediocre by the fanbase and useful only for giving us Cynder who kickstarted many a scaly fetish.

EtD was a rushed mess. It’s a shame as I replayed it recently and can see the potential in it, but it was rushed out before they could fix the bugs. Also, there were meant to be way more levels, but again: rushed.

Do they have any screenshots aside from the remasters of the original Spyro? I want to see what Spyro 2 and 3 look like, since they were superior games in everything but difficulty.

I loved how buggy that game was, so you could access almost every level immediately if you knew how to exploit the bugs. But they weren't very good levels compared to the PS1 Spyro games, and as a kid I found it utterly boring compared to the earlier Spyro games. Even the Game Boy Advance Spyro games were better, and those had annoying as hell platforming.

I remember seeing Caddicarus glitch through the entire game in like 10mins. Level-wise I agree - I think they were bigger and as a result emptier than levels from the PS1 games, either that or the framerate was so slow it just felt like it took forever to get anywhere significant.

I remember the GBA games, God they were frustrating. Also my copy of Season of Ice had an interesting glitch where if you went into one specific level (it was a caveman one) the game would freeze, but if you restarted the console when you loaded the game you'd be in the caveman level.
