Considering the amount of people totally caught off guard by the complications, healing time, etc and frustrated with their final results, I think its safe to say "she" is rarely fully aware of how the surgery works.

I still don't know why these guys insist on traveling to other countries to get the surgery. I realize its often cheaper to go to a poorer country (no offense, serbs), but you have absolutely no recourse if they decide to send you home with an infected wound and ghost you. You can spread the word online, but most of the people from these countries are not super active on the English speaking web and that's where they probably get most of their income.

This isn't a tooth removal, its barbaric fleshcrafting. The LEAST you can do is be as safe as possible by getting it done in your home country.

But here’s the issue.
If you get a knee replacement, there’s a pretty clear definition of what a correct knee replacement looks like and feels like. You can easily say ‘okay, the doctor did this wrong’. Same with most surgeries.
But was SRS...what is it supposed to look like? What is it supposed to feel like? Outside of something like the doctor not using sterile equipment and you getting infected, I’m not sure what you could sue for SRS medical malpractice on.
