This story has flew under a lot of radars and only caught my attention because of a thread on /v/ whining about it but it's a funny story with funnier reactions, so here goes nothing:
So a VN by the name of "They Key to Home" was put through the steam direct service. Valve asked for a quick summary of the plot and the target audience, to which they responded. Valve then cancelled the release of the game and when asked for an explanation they responded simply:
"Because we think this novel's core audience is pedophiles."
The developer produced a massive worldwall about how they dindunuffin' and there's alleged rumors of artwork by Rustle that struck the project down. Currently said wordwall has a shitload of salt so I guess this doubles as a saltmine thread, too!
