Thanks to the ALA and so many libraries rebranding as woke community centers and hobo hangouts, people will sit on the internet ALL DAY as long as there isn't a line, and pervs openly watching porn (and semi-openly doing...other things) is a common issue. There are whole websites/blogs dedicated to how disgusting and woke libraries have become and they all mention the "defending the open viewing of porn" issue.
Of course, my direct experience with this was in a big liberal city. I haven't been to the main library in downtown Binghamton yet (Stephanie lives in Endicott, the next town over). I'm sure it's also a stupid shithole with pandering queer/BLM sections but it might not be quite as accepting of porn and might have a time limit as you've mentioned.

I think Steph is more insecure about her age than she lets on, and quite frankly I don’t blame her. 32 is not an old age, your 30’s are usually your prime when you’re established in a career and able to enjoy the fruits of all the hard work you spent your 20’s doing, but it’s pretty goddamn old if you’re abled-bodied (literally everyone has weird knees and joints Staph, that doesn’t make you disabled) and still living with and relying on your parents and having to abide by their rules.

She’s an excellent example of how having a college degree, even a Masters, does not equal intelligence or success, or even education for that matter. Because if all the stories about how she behaved towards vulnerable patients at her last job are true, then she truly did not learn a single thing in college. What a waste of time and money.

Its ok to feel pity, I do too...until I remember how unrelentingly smug and arrogant she is, how nasty and entitled toward her parents, and the damage she would be willing to do to vulnerable populations (via social work and her fake nonprofit) if she was allowed to. Institutions are crumbling but the fact that Stephanie got the boot from her jobs gives me hope ngl
