His hands are trembling with the awesomeness of the roll of sherbits in pristine condition. I love how excited he gets when rare old ration treats are still edible. (of course once that roll was opened....different story. )

And no one makes it harder for me not to start smoking again as Steve when he lights up some antique ration cigs. Especially when he cracked that sealed metal tin of smokes from the 1890s and he swore they were the finest cigarettes he'd ever smoked in his life. I believe it.

As far as amazing ancient treats go, that German amphetamine chocolate one from a few years aback....that one's gonna be hard to top.

I think some of it was that he knew he enjoyed this ration menu before, and that he knew it was going to be in good condition, going in. No worry about running into botulism meat sludge; this was almost a mukbang.

The corn joke is as risqué as I've heard him get. I like Sassy Steve.

There was one video a few months ago where some people thought he was bitter and burned out because he was really heavily snarking at a mediocre ration.

He commented to clarify that he just felt like hamming it up like an angry reviewer for fun and to change things up. It should also be noted that in his really old videos he did this a lot more.

He really is always wholesome...
