Of course in using this hypothetical Destiny ignores all the other arguments that could be made with it, like "What if I put your brain in a black person's body" or "What if I put your brain in an old person's body"

Unless there's something I'm missing here, the argument essentially presupposes that a transsexual is just an individual who possesses the brain of the opposite sex. I don't think it's immediately obvious that that's true, and I don't even think most trans activists would agree either. A lot of them don't believe in a gender binary, nor do they think there is a "female brain" and a "male brain".

Has anyone kept in touch how breadtubers have been doing lately? Popularity wise?

All the breadtubers like Vaush, Hasan & Destiny do these days is be react Andys. And the so called "debates" with a bunch of randoms have become truly boring to me.

It's a low effort entertainment and quite frankly you don't learn shit from it besides having the "talking points" that any smart person would take it with a grain of salt & have to double check them because it's coming from a bunch of people that can't even read further from headlines or article's final conclusions.

I can't see this last for long, the people that watch it are probably a bunch of losers that desperately need a community to belong to & Destiny has said the same thing but in the context of radicalized politifags.

They're running out of material, Trump is no longer in office and you can see the effect this is taking on shithole places like /r/politics. And you can also see Destiny desperately trying to get in touch with a sexual creep like Vaush with his React Andy material.

So... Autistic rant aside - do you see Pseudointellectual breadtubers still be making a good living from mentally disabled paypigs 3 years from now or do you see it slowly dying?

We're pretty much returning to pre-gamergate & pre-2016 Trump political environment where most people don't give a shit about political activism beyond the personal pet-peeves and the occasional hot-button issue like Palestine and Israel conflict. As such, pretty much all political ""commentators"" are becoming stagnant in growth and niche. I expect in the future that a lot of breadtubers will become defunct or change their content. Probably video games or other nerd shit.

I don't think BreadTube is going to implode the way the skeptics did, I think you're forgetting the fact that the skeptics while they were initially butt-buddies with each other (to the point where they would defend each other for the slightest criticism), they never created a real "community" or ecosystem, they only created the format of finding simple ideals to defend (free-speech to western civilization as this image oh so lovingly shows):

I don't disagree with you that the left canniablizes itself a lot more, but the point was that, despite their drama, the fallout just hasn't been the same, for breadtube it's a purity race; for every person that gets thrown to the wolves, 2 new ones replaces them or at worst they simple grift to fit another group within breadtube (like Xanderhal/Vaush going from crypto-tankie to "soc-dem" or sh0eonhead "I just want healthcare" to tankie/nazbol).

Meanwhile for the skeptics it was a race to the bottom, where most simply left youtube or stayed far away from any politics/outrage culture, only a few grifted hard into conservative land (Sargon, Computing Forever and Louis and hell even Vee to a degree).
