This debate was suppose to be 2v2, I think some dumb tiktoker was suppose to be on AJW's side.

This is what I hate about these debate formats, doesnt matter how intelligent one person can be (e.g. AJW), he can get overshadowed by the dumbfuckery of the second person (one time there was some clout chasing conservative who didnt believe in moon landing, dinosaurs and believed in flat Earth. Yeah I'd love to be his debate partner ... not).

That being said, I'm glad the tiktoker didnt show up. This was 1v2 and none of AJW's points were refuted. Riley tried to use the "don't you think you're being a little uncharitable" takes but I'm glad AJW insisted on rejecting CTR.

This was a really bad look on Destiny's part, he was forced to take neutral stance and because his audience is often "talk more & use a lot of fancy terms = win" I wonder how they are gonna cope with this. Not to mention this was 1v2 lmao.

I'm 90% certain that destiny is going to slide more and more right as time goes on. His good friends like Riley will probably stick by him but he will end up getting disowned by a large portion of the leftwing community online. The problem is that he isn't unaware, he's even been the victim of some of it directly, but he can't get over his "I'M RIGHT ALWAYS" mindset. I honestly believe the only reason Destiny holds the political position he does is that it's counter to his mother's, he seems to hold quite a bit of resentment to her.

It's not like Destiny isn't open to sources to his Right, and those two have repeatedly expressed fondness for him in turn, so does he harbor some one-sided personal beef with them or something?

I don't know if they have personal beef, but Vaush has been on Adam and Sitch before. They cover him and Destiny all the time. Maybe he's just embarrassed?

While its entirely possible its resentment, when you look at his content in context, it really doesn't look that way, at least in my view. He has streamed most of his life to the world so having his mum in the content isn't too strange and he will talk about his life growing up (again, involves the mum). With as much air time that he gives the world (which includes streaming from his mums house and travelling), of course she will become a 'character' in his streams. This guy is (self confessed) terminaly online, so his real life and online life bleeding into each other is bound to (and does) happen.


The fact that they still talk and she did several of these debates (5 over 5 years per your pic) shows that at the end of the day, despite their differences and debates, they make peace and move on with life together. I cannot say the same for interactions with my mother.

To be fair, I have noticed that some of users in his chat were against CRT (pre-debate).

I think Destiny is just going to ignore this debate, it was a really bad look on his part.

If he's smart, he's gonna focus on further debunking Vaush which should be within his best interest.

There's a much higher chance that he's gonna convert Vaush's brainlet audience to his side because let's point out the obvious - Vaush is a copy of Destiny (he came from destiny's community), same mannerism, same rethorics just a lot dumber & an overall creep.
