Penny Oaken, birth name Steven Joel Akins, is a middle-aged pre-op MTF troon who moderates over sixty subreddits and has a reputation for fighting to shut down subreddits that hurt his feelings and/or have userbases full of people who support political and social views he does not like. He is unemployed and spends most of his time on the Internet. On Reddit, he is also known for stalking, doxing, and threatening users he dislikes. Despite blatantly breaking Reddit's rules, nothing is ever done to correct his behavior. He is a repeat psychiatric patient by his own admission on Twitter (has been institutionalized multiple times) [ARCHIVE], and has been active on Secondlife for over a decade, primarily using the program to pretend to be a lesbian and having cybersex. There, he goes by "Penny Witchette" and "Finning Widget". It is likely he decided to transition because he fantasized about becoming his avatar. Oaken began taking HRT approximately during the winter of 2017-2018 and has suffered from mood swings as a result [ARCHIVE] as well as paranoid ideation [ARCHIVE].
Before becoming hated on Reddit for their subreddit policing, Oaken was already disliked for making a post defending incest [ARCHIVE]. They also have made a number of false statements about themselves, the most notable being where they claimed to be a retired scientist who was able to retire early due to being a patent holder of technology used in every smartphone, and the other being that they have been supposedly researching white supremacy and neo-nazis for thirty years. He has never provided any evidence whatsoever for any of these claims. The claim that he's a patent holder has been explicitly debunked by different people who tried to look up whether he has any patents to his name and found absolutely nothing.

As mentioned above, Oaken is a major powermod on Reddit and mods over sixty subreddits, chief among them being /r/AgainstHateSubreddits, which has a far left userbase who actively goes out of their way to try to get subs to the immediate right of them banned on account of being "hateful" and being full of "EVUL NOT-SEES". On AgainstHateSubreddits, Oaken is responsible for the orchestrating of raids where members of AHS use throwaway accounts to post child pornography on subs they don't like in order to get them banned. This came out when a whistleblower from AHS's Discord server made a video on Youtube that was soon after deleted (but people, myself included, downloaded - you can likely find this video floating around outside of KF) speaking out against this:

Because it's "rules for me but not for thee", evidently. People have a right to research public figures making unsubstantiated claims about themselves and others. Fact-checking the public statements of public figures to determine if those statements stand up to scrutiny is always always ALWAYS protected speech.
The cold hard fact is that many have caught Bardfinn lying about himself repeatedly and consistently. Given his position at Reddit as a supermod with dozens of large subreddits under his control, we have every right to warn people about this supermod who has consistently lied about himself and his alleged background. Then there are a series of pictures of League of Trolls' get-togethers that League of Trolls' leader Drewiepoodle posted on Instagram and Twitter (read: public pictures in the public domain for years), and people assume that some of these other pictures show Bardfinn sitting next to Drewiepoodle, but none of this has ever been confirmed. Whatever the case may be, these pictures were made public by Drewiepoodle on social media for the purpose of making the League Trolls get-togethers public. All people did is link to these pictures and speculate whether the redhead sitting next to Drewiepoodle is Bardfinn. In fact, those pictures (posted above) are from Drewiepoodle's Twitter account, which are still up as of this post.
Is Bardfinn now effectively admitting that the redhead sitting next to Drewiepoodle in these pictures is actually indeed him? If you're so scared of being identified, why agree to appear on someone's public social media timeline? Also, why not ask Drewiepoodle to take his pictures down, if you're so terrified of people seeing what you actually look like and how you actually look nothing like your Mastodon avatar (which is a younger picture)?

Bardfinn's claim that people "turned" an image into CP is grotesque gaslighting. Particularly in the context of the AHS whistleblower's video.
First, "these accusations of child porn posting and/or possession", I am guessing this is a reference to the AHS whistleblower's video, where the AHS whistleblower showed an exchange on Reddit and claimed that he was allegedly asked by Bardfinn on Discord to post CP into targeted subreddits that AHS wanted to take down, thus creating an excuse for reporting those subreddits to Reddit Admins to have them removed. What the AHS whistleblower said in their video was not that Bardfinn himself posted or possessed CP himself, but rather that Bardfinn was dogwhistling others on AHS to obtain CP and post this onto enemy subreddits, so that Bardfinn could then use that as an excuse to have those targeted subreddits removed. People then inferred that Bardfinn very likely participated in these raids himself, especially in the context of his previous posts on Reddit defending incest, arguing that, quote, "incest is not unethical.".
Other than this, there was the case of mistaken identity with the white supremacist by the name of "Steven L. Akins" whom people read about on the SPLC webpage and wrongfully assumed it was Bardfinn because of a similar name. Bardfinn doesn't disclose this part of the story, because admitting that it was a case of mistaken identity doesn't help his narrative that these people were deliberately out to "get" him. These people made an innocent mistake in assuming he was the person on the SPLC website.
With regards to Bardfinn going to LE, you guys probably already know Bardfinn has been threatening to sue people on Reddit over various comments since time immemorial. His threats of getting LE involved should be read in the same way.
Once again, 1) that's not what the AHS whistleblower said, that's what people inferred from the AHS whistleblower's video because of Bardfinn's own "incest is not unethical" post and 2) I have not seen anything showing beyond the shadow of a doubt that the AHS' whistleblower's video was faked, as Bardfinn constantly claims. I did see the screengrab compilation showing that Bardfinn was lying about not having a Discord account, only to post a screengrab of himself logged into Discord using his own Discord account. Why would Bardfinn lie about something like that, why would he lie about not having a Discord account, if the AHS whistleblower's video was totally faked like he claims? Clearly Bardfinn cannot disprove what was shown in the video, so he tries to distance himself from it, only to overplay his hand.
Also, in the context of all his other lies, that have independently researched, is any of this that far off?
