He is unemployed and spends most of his time on the Internet. On Reddit, he is also known for stalking, doxing, and threatening users he dislikes. Despite blatantly breaking Reddit's rules, nothing is ever done to correct his behavior. He is a repeat psychiatric patient by his own admission on Twitter (has been institutionalized multiple times) [ARCHIVE], and has been active on Secondlife for over a decade, primarily using the program to pretend to be a lesbian and having cybersex. There, he goes by "Penny Witchette" and "Finning Widget". It is likely he decided to transition because he fantasized about becoming his avatar. Oaken began taking HRT approximately during the winter of 2017-2018 and has suffered from mood swings as a result [ARCHIVE] as well as paranoid ideation [ARCHIVE].
Before becoming hated on Reddit for their subreddit policing, Oaken was already disliked for making a post defending incest [ARCHIVE]. They also have made a number of false statements about themselves, the most notable being where they claimed to be a retired scientist who was able to retire early due to being a patent holder of technology used in every smartphone, and the other being that they have been supposedly researching white supremacy and neo-nazis for thirty years. He has never provided any evidence whatsoever for any of these claims. The claim that he's a patent holder has been explicitly debunked by different people who tried to look up whether he has any patents to his name and found absolutely nothing.

On AgainstHateSubreddits, Oaken is responsible for the orchestrating of raids where members of AHS use throwaway accounts to post child pornography on subs they don't like in order to get them banned. This came out when a whistleblower from AHS's Discord server made a video on Youtube that was soon after deleted (but people, myself included, downloaded - you can likely find this video floating around outside of KF) speaking out against this:

Whatever the case may be, these pictures were made public by Drewiepoodle on social media for the purpose of making the League Trolls get-togethers public. All people did is link to these pictures and speculate whether the redhead sitting next to Drewiepoodle is Bardfinn. In fact, those pictures (posted above) are from Drewiepoodle's Twitter account, which are still up as of this post.

What the AHS whistleblower said in their video was not that Bardfinn himself posted or possessed CP himself, but rather that Bardfinn was dogwhistling others on AHS to obtain CP and post this onto enemy subreddits, so that Bardfinn could then use that as an excuse to have those targeted subreddits removed. People then inferred that Bardfinn very likely participated in these raids himself, especially in the context of his previous posts on Reddit defending incest, arguing that, quote, "incest is not unethical.".
Other than this, there was the case of mistaken identity with the white supremacist by the name of "Steven L. Akins" whom people read about on the SPLC webpage and wrongfully assumed it was Bardfinn because of a similar name. Bardfinn doesn't disclose this part of the story, because admitting that it was a case of mistaken identity doesn't help his narrative that these people were deliberately out to "get" him. These people made an innocent mistake in assuming he was the person on the SPLC website.
With regards to Bardfinn going to LE, you guys probably already know Bardfinn has been threatening to sue people on Reddit over various comments since time immemorial. His threats of getting LE involved should be read in the same way.
