I still can't believe they're still on about Uncle Grandpa when there has been shit to get upset about in the mean time. I hope the show crosses over with another one actually popular with its audience, like Gumball or something. Then they would love it.

Clearly you do not have a proper appreciation for a TV show that uses hand drawn figures, intricate plot arcs, and is bold enough to explore single parenthood from the eyes of a child with a non-nuclear family as its archetype.

Technically, they're sexless. I'm probably sounding like a broken record now, but the creator of the show has said most of them are neither male nor female. Since she said that, tumblr drops their "Sex never determines gender!" motto when talking about Steven Universe so they can make the show fit their little "special snowflake" atmosphere.
