Adventure Time is another one of those shows where I just cannot "get" what makes this show so popular amongst the mouth-breathers. I don't hate it, but I just do ot see what is about it that makes people love it so much.

Dumb huh, I will have you know that spending my life in my basement and working on my Tumblr campaign to bring about change is not dumb. Spending all my money on merchandise to sit on my shelves is not dumb. Spending hours each day writing and mailing scripts to Cartoon Network is not dumb. Spending hours a day making videos specifially animated music videos about this show is not dumb. Writing Steven Universe fan fiction where everyone is in Fursona or even cross gendered is not dumb.
Dumb is having nothing to believe in that you have to sit back and ridicule a passionate fandom that you clearly do not understand!

I have to disagree with your use of the 3rd person plural pronoun. They'd implies that they could be of both genders and does not effectively include neutral genders or otherkin tendencies. Deity-kin, I believe would be offended by being grouped together. Each as to be mentioned singularly.

I'm guessing people like Sugar behind it are at least partially the reason, some hate it now because Sugar isn't on it.

If you already have such better lives, why do you have to even come here and remind us of it. What, you have better food to eat than the utilitarian hot pocket?! Well, I am sorry I cannot sit at my table with my wife and kids like you do Mr. Doctor and enjoy my Prime Rib and Lobster Tails. I have a purpose in life and that is to make the world a better place. I am scared of the outside world and I need an inspirational figure like Steven to give me that strength. Otherwise, I would be reminded about how often I have to have my adult diaper changed.
