It doesn't make much sense if you think about it. Slavery was abolished by a rather small subset of people with enough power, yet most generationally American Blacks were the descendant of slaves. This means the average Whitey doesn't have any credit because statistically their ancestors weren't involved in the abolition to begin with, whether they agreed with the system or not.
On the flip side, statistically, most of their Whitey ancestors didn't even own slaves, so this entire reparations shit makes zero sense to begin with. It's not like WW2 where many victims are actually still alive.
Maybe I'm sounding like a retard. Was there a vote to abolish slavery? Then most would have ancestors that took part in it. Reparations are fucking dumb anyway, affirmative action apparently isn't enough cuz niggaz can't two plus three.
What about "white" people who can trace their ancestry to slaves? Do they get reparations too? Homer Plessy of Plessy v. Ferguson was quite literally white-passing to the point he expressly had to give notice to the railroad who threw him off the train that he was an octoroon and therefore legally black. Otherwise they wouldn't have even noticed and there would have been no case.
