Street Fighter Music Thread - EX+ or nah, what's your fave?

Call me gay if you like, but Pullum's theme from EX3 is one of my faves. I also enjoy Hokuto, Skullomania, Chun-Li and Dhalsim's themes. They're all pretty great as far as gaming tunes go though.

I played Street Fighter EX Plus Alpha as a kid and loved the entire soundtrack. It all brings back nostalgic memories.

what, no SF3 3S love? Akuma and Ken/Alex had the best themes in that game, and there's plenty of other amazing music in that game like Ibuki, Makoto or Dudley's themes.

I've always liked Yang's theme from Second Impact.

Adon's theme in Alpha and Alpha 2 kicked ass, but the best version was Alpha 2 Gold.

Eh I prefer both the World Edition's Balrog and Vega themes tbh, and no that's not the only Street Fighter game I've played or enjoy music from. Street Fighter Alpha 3 had a ridiculously good soundtrack except for Guile's theme.

The thing I like best of many of the tracks in that game is that it generally gets you pumped as your playing. Something I find lacking in games where you have to respond fairly quickly with what's going on around you.

In general SF music is pretty shit compared to a lot of fighting games, but Guile's original theme just scream AMERICA so much that it might as well replace the national anthem and fit better.

I really don't like any of the work that SF4 composer has done, with MVC3 or SFxTekken being so bad they're the first time I muted games.

SFV's ost thankfully kicks ass. Really like the Cammy and Sakura remixes.

Third Strike is still the best.
