You can tell he has no idea how to cook a steak given he fries it in massive amount of oil and immediately cuts into it without letting its juices redistribute. Using generous amounts of butter while pan frying a steak is not unusual but the only time (I can think of) that you should macerate a cut in oil is if you are making country-fried steak. And letting any meat settle a bit before cutting is practically the first thing any cooking video tells you once you are finished cooking.
