From what I know about Styx, and maybe I missed someone mentioning this (apologies if so), him bringing up old "problematic" statements from Holt shouldn't be taken at face value or as a serious attempt to cancel him letftist style. Holt has attacked Styx many times and written unfair, and often bordering slanderous, articles about him. I would assume Styx is only bringing this up as a gotcha because he wants to hold Holt up to his own standards and thus show how stupid they are, and get back at him for the articles, etc.
That said, Holt isn't going to stop and constantly feeding into the back-and-forth slap fight they have going on isn't a good use of Tarl's time. Those defamatory articles aren't going to reach anyone who wouldn't already dislike him. Much like Tarl does on Bitchute, Holt is preaching to an echo chamber.
Mind you, this is all assuming I didn't miss something Styx has said that implies he's truly gone off the deep end and is now seriously attempting to wield the sword of Damocles as his enemies do, which is entirely possible as I've not really had time nor interest in keeping up with any petty social media squabbles lately. But it doesn't fall into his typical pattern of behavior as far as I have seen.

Yeah, that was a weird note, but he got him right in the field he tweeted. Except the title. Not sure why he keeps calling these people liberals. I think it comes from sports. Sportsball teams always have dumb names for their fanbases "Raider Nation", "Cheeseheads", "Bills Mafia", etc. MAGA Boomers follow politics in the exact same way they follow Sportsball, so the branding makes sense.
