A problem that this site has is that a lot of the time we will have giant threads with hundreds of comments, with updates littered throughout them. A lot of the time most people simply don't have the time or energy to sit there and read through everybody's opinions of whats going on just to get to a critical update to gain context. A simple solution for this is to allow for mods and OPs to be able to distinguish an important comment, making it easier to spot.
