for whats its worth knowing nothing about smash, not even what an l cancel is, and being not much into any fighting game community, the video succeeded in making me lean towards leffen being a crybully that blocks anyone that can actually fight back or make him look stupid on a point and he seems like a petty asshole, but on the other hand thats pretty much any faggot at the top of a social group built on clout and game skill rankings. hax on the other hand is oblivious to admitting he assaulted i think two but at least one person over leffen trying to be petty saying the box sucked and that hax should let him customize input to maybe hurt hax or keep him under him in the hierarchy, for little mistakes the guy made like not knowing hax's controller blacklist he not only assaulted him but was so clueless he put it out casually.
leffen isnt hitler and he probably isnt some serial killer soulless monster who would let people die or throw people en masse in a gas chamber to establish himself as king of children party games. he also iirc blew the whistle on pedo shit thats rife in the smash bros player base which hax is implicitly painting as paling in comparison to leffen being a petty troll who wants to be king shit and is arrogant. he even appeals to anti metoo shit to make it seem like leffen was basically behind "falsely" painting the man children as chomos.

That's what I think the biggest problem is: Hax is so delusional and his perspective is so narrow he can't see how someone can just be a jerk and an idiot, but not a super duper evil psychopath. He's confusing evil with doucheiness.
I think it all started because tournie organizers enabled their demands for CRTs. CRTs are great and all, but they're really fucking heavy and cumbersome and demanding that people drag around like 80 at events so you can play one game on them to avoid a 0.5 second delay is absurd. And once you get someone to do something that ridiculous for you it fosters a sense of entitlement that makes the whole world seem smaller and stupider.
