Cryptocurrency casinos, basically. Torrent sites can find advertisers, so it's not 100% impossible. But very low CPM, like $0.5.

Bro, I cycle my addresses. I do not make enough money from straight donations to develop a fucking custom wallet API for this fucking site. Do you get it? Your suggestions are impractical. The people donating are crypto hodlers going long who have their own wallets.

No one using this site makes routine crypto donations! It's like $20 every so often. That's it. I get 99% of money for the site through fiat donations, not crypto (not factoring in BAT). I'm not spending time on this.

I'm suggesting that if you fixed it so people could donate directly from the exchanges, you would be able to significantly widen your crypto-donating audience from the hardcore hodlers, to normal people who don't know anything about crypto..

For reference: I can buy bitcoins in less than 5 minutes without registering an account, having any technological skills, or setting up a wallet. If the site uses proper address management, I can thus donate to it in less than 5 minutes. If I have to set up a wallet, the barrier to entry is significantly raised, making it substantially less likely it would happen in an impulse decision.

I've had two people complain Coinbase in several years.

Your priorities when making suggestions are baffling. You are disconnected from the realities of this site and normal people in general.

The issue is most users are American, Americans must kyc to get crypto, and most users don't want to kyc for this site just to spend money on a community they casually use and which fucking burns money.

I'm not wasting dev time that broadens the site as a target for hacking but which no one will ever use.

Monero is honestly miles ahead of Bitcoin in terms of on-chain privacy out of the box. Converting between the two can be reasonably safely too which is nice. Can hodl BTC and spend/replace as XMR.

People could also exploit the wacky ETH fees atm and GPU mine a little bit too if so inclined. Mined coins without any KYC are pretty much peak anonymity.

Yes, but this requires users to set up a Monero wallet. That is a significant barrier. With address generation, there would be no need to 'learn crypto'
