He probably thought the whole world looked like giant, rural Virginia until high school. And he'd probably still think that if, by the grace of GodBearJesus, he hadn't become obsessed with his Spanish classes.

Unless something relates to one of his strange, narrow range of interests, Chris will not know about it or care enough to learn about it. Chris does not know or care about Anita Sarkeesian. Chris does not care about the Family Guy/ Simpsons crossover or Brian's death more than any of the other crap that he watches regularly.
