From here on out I'm thinking of releasing GitM chapters two at a time to convince me to pick up the pace a bit more. I actually already have quite a bit done on chapters 14 & 15 and their related interstitials, so hopefully I'll be able to get a few more chapters out by the end of the year.

Thanks for tackling this, Taffy. It's motivated me to actually read the sonichu comics finally, but only with annotated support.

One interesting thing I noted in the original annotations from "The Rise and Fall of Christian's Heart"/the Hanna fake date story: The annotator talking about Chris' tendancy to not only accept something too good to be true but to make it even BETTER in his mind, makes a point that is painfully relevant to the ongoing Post-Idea Guys corruption of Chris's universe.

"It is with good reason that the 'inner circle' of trolls have taken steps to prevent people from outright swindling him, since it would be painfully easy to do so."

Yeah. Many years later, it seems it WAS painfully easy.

I'm pretty sure no matter what happens to me for the rest of my life, I will always consider the time in my life were I had poorly drawn hedgehog porn saved to my hard drive to be "rock bottom". Sonichu 10's going to be fun though. I'm pretty sure "Director Amenities" is CWC-speak for "My Tyrant Powers".

Sorry for so little so late. I've been really under the weather for the past month or so. I really thought I was going to be done with Sonichu 9 by this point. I'm sorry about that. I think I'm a bit depressed because the CWCkipedia archive's been down for like three weeks. Wayback Machine archives just aren't the same . I just hit 100 Tumblr followers today though, which I never expected to reach. You guys are the best.

As an aside, I'd like to have the Sonichu 10 background and theme up sometime this week (I'm thinking dark green this time), but I don't really know what I want to do for the icon for Sonichu 10. Nothing jumps out at me like the straw for #4 or the Incredible Lioness from #8. I'm kinda tempted to use Alec's face from when he got zapped from the end of the issue, but I'm worried A) it's a bit morbid and B) since Alec is still an active figure I'm worried it might be sort of in poor taste to bring up that time he got executed. Any other suggestions?

Great idea, though now I'm sort of leaning towards that shot of Ultra Sonichu with his arms outstretched like Jesus on the cross, floating in and then bringing someone back to life - Sonichu 10 is also the height of Chris's god complex and having the image of a crucified Sonichu watching over the page as you read seems appropriately ominous and indicative of the very warped mind of CWC in January and February of 2010.

I'm not head over heels with the new background (the photo editor on my computer is acting up so I had to use the version on my phone) but I like the new color scheme. Actually, since Sonichu 10 is really long, I'm thinking for the first time I might change up the background and color scheme in the middle of an issue, maybe to something a bit more ominous as we get closer to the famous ending. But for now, sea foam green.

Edit: I got my computer's photo editor software going good long enough to make a cover in the same style I've always done, so enjoy grass green and dark blue. Still might switch it up near the end.
