Actually, I think the article implied she did. She was 23 in 2013, and the article said it was a more recent development. She started gaining weight after she stopped playing sports, so I'd guess she played intramural in college before graduating. Nothing to really confirm or deny that though.

Unless she chimps out at her parents in saying they would never understand or if she chimps out at someone taking food she would want to buy, she isn't a lol-cow. I don't get how someone can eat copious amounts of food like that. The human stomach can hold up to a half gallon of contents but I don't get how someone can eat even after they feel full. Well I do anyways somewhat. I've had it where I would eat even after I was full to the point that I got sick but that is more from growing up with "eat everything on your plate" mindset.
