This is Tara Jay, a YouTube gaming streamer, vlogger and reviewer who talks about Trump, DSP, and transgender stuff. I think you're correct when you say they're doing this for attention. Most people who are transgender (that is, with genuine gender dysphoria) try to make it as unobvious as possible. When they just have the fact they're transitioning plastered as the titles for all of their videos, it's clear they're doing it for publicity and pity points. The fascination and obsession with DSP is probably also just because everyone else is doing it. Many nobodies have gotten popularity through mocking and documenting DSP's misadventures, so he's probably trying ape the success that others have had.

What's pathetic is that it's not working. Most of their videos barely break triple digits, so they're probably not smart enough to realize how to even properly advertise their videos or make them interesting. Which makes sense given, from what I can tell from watching their videos, they have all the charisma of a dying fish.

The fucking math is obvious; 30 days, that's 3.66 pounds per day. 700 calories burned = 1 pound lost on average. The claim is either burning or eating/functioning at the caloric deficit of -2562 calories a day, for 30 days straight. There's no fucking way. You can take nitro pills and burn 2 pounds a day with the risk of your internal temp rising to a killing heat for a modelling gig or sports weigh-in, but no troon is capable of this outlandish claim.

I see this behavior in hobbies frequently as well. In gaming, I know people who would be capable of training and playing something at the competitive level, but veer off and play something else, flitting from game to game instead because they're neurotics that can't stick to one thing and do it well. Also a fear of getting out-done by someone else, which is especially embarrassing. I work out, I'll never have the physique of Dwayne Johnson or Wolverine-era Hugh Jackman, but I still benefit from the effort put in.
