Imo, Paisley is the saddest child on this thread because she's probably aware of her pain and bored in her crib. I can understand why Insta is big mad. HearingGate was perhaps the last straw for the mom after a sea of critical comments over many months. Just imaging what it's like to try to breathe with a ribcage that's too small gives me a feeling akin to how I imagine extreme claustrophobia. That's a nightmare the kid is living.

They do! I have a family member who is deaf and once she got her cochlear implants at age five, she finally learned to talk!!!
But the school for the deaf she attended wouldn't let her speak, only sign.
She is a very intelligent normal child, she just can't hear on her own. She is in a public school now and doing great and can interact with her peers.
For some reason, the "Deaf Community" is very shitty towards people who improve their hearing and are able to speak.
Like why would anyone shit on a kid finally being able to learn how to speak and can hear after years of silence?
I'll tell you who, deaf terrorists and the Tard baby community.

The deaf community is fucking terrible. On FB any post or ad about cochlear they always shit talk and complain. On post it was a video of a kid being happy about hearing birds for the first time and they still complained. If I was deaf I would fucking hate the community and never be apart of that toxic dump.

I think it's also an overreaction to the historical mistreatmeant of deaf people. It's not even been 100 years since deaf people were comonly denied the ability to learn and practice sign language or were shipped off to rot in asylums. They still face some issues today like increased risk of police violence.

It doesn't make it right, but I can see where that culture comes from. Sjws abuse the word but ableism is a real thing and the disability rights movement is just as historically significant as the LGBT rights movement is 2nd wave feminism (even if it's much less well known).
