Twinings Lady Grey is excellent either hot or iced with a touch of sweetener.

I can appreciate lady grey. It's not my favorite but I keep some around because its a damn good tea to serve to people who don't drink tea very often. My mother even likes it, and she's a die hard coffee drinker.

Wondering what to try next now.

:edit: dat word filter

Twinnings has a few boxes with variations, if you want to go that route.

If you want to keep up with the infuser (which I totally suggest) Wegmans have generally nice selection of bulk loose leaf. You have the benefit of smelling the tea before you buy, and you can buy just a little at a time to try it out, then come back and buy more if you really dig it!

I like to keep a selection of about 6 loose leaf varieties at a time, only keeping about 1/2 -1 oz of each, and cycle them out so I don't have to drink the same thing every day.

Probably my favorite right now is a ginger and peach black tea blend.

Wrong continent, unfortunately. I'm going to have to track down a tea merchant here in the Midlands, see what I like the look/smell of.

Upton Tea is website that sells an enormous variety of teas and accoutrements. I bought some Peach Melba herbal tea from them that was pretty nifty. Word of warning though, if you order anything from them you'll be on their mailing list forever. I don't think I've ordered anything from them in about five years and they're still mailing me their catalog four times a year.

I bought a few globes of this yesterday. I managed to locate a glass mug to watch it unfurl and I was very pleased.

I've never had globe tea before and it bloomed so beautifully! It felt a little like magic watching it slowly open. The smell is amazing.

It's made of Jasmine, green tea and amaranth. It's got a fantastic flavor. Strong but without any bitterness, completely smooth and light.

I definitely suggest if you run into this give it a try.

I'm big into tea. My electric kettle is constantly turned on and immediately forgotten about.

Repping one of my favorite tea producers, straight from source, good quality and cheap. Very accessible for people new to loose leaf.

Look at this happy little picker! Don't you want to feed her small, starving family for a week by buying a pound of this tea? I know I do!

Green tea tastes like foot.

Get a good vanilla sencha.

I'm always down for a good Chai Tea. I live near a tea house that makes the best chai tea I've ever drank. Rich and creamy without it drowning out the flavor.

Dong Ding (lel) Oolong, or those jasmine 'pearls' made of rolled green tea leaves. Absolute tea heaven. Or, if the weather's cold and shitty, a mug of Earl Grey or Chai.

My first introduction to green tea was Twinings shite that was so vile I didn't touch it again for years (how the fuck do they manage to market that stuff? Do people actually drink it?). Then someone sent me a sampler of a few teas from Tea Pigs (British place - they sell it in Tesco, I think). Totally different ballgame. Eyes opened.

High Teas is a great website for buying loose tea of all types if you live in the UK (Tea Pigs is nice, but it's seriously expensive and they only have a small range). Shitton of black, green, puerh and herbal teas and the prices are pretty good, although delivery will take about a week. Lavender Earl Grey, smoky Earl Grey and the Russian chai they do are really nice too.

Does anyone have a brand of tea leaves that are really good for a light, floral iced tea?

(I’ll supply my own 🧩 for being this autistic about a drink.)

I know it's not quite what you're asking but I recommend mixing green and mint in the Moroccan fashion. You can find instructions online for how to properly proportion the mixture. I recommend adding some mint leaves to your pitcher and mix some honey into the glass once poured if you're interested in something a little sweet.

Perhaps orange blossom tea might work for a floral tea with a fruity aspect. Orange blossom lemonade is a thing but you could have it with mint or green tea.

Lupicia brand tea is the best tea I've ever had. I tried several types and they all share the characteristic of having a flavor more intense than what's commonly found in other teas. The tins are really cute, too.
