I wonder if someone actually took up the challenge. Because I'm not sure how you can take a brutal murder/rape scene and make it funny yet tasteful while keeping in the same context. Also I miss hibi2k, he was like the chill uncle of the group.

I'm pretty convinced TFS kicked him out for not being woke enough. He made some pretty edgy jokes in the DnD session previously and after kicking him out the whole thing got worse quality-wise.

He's still working with Something Witty Entertainment, and though I think Sword Art Online Abridged took a dive with season 2, they just came out with the second episode(two years after the first, so it's almost as if Kiaser was involved) of My Hero Academia Abridged, with Taka as the voice of All Might

I'd say it's only good around S1 because that's when the OG series was utter trash and it was ripe for making fun of, from showing how the game busted was, how bad the main bad guy was an etc. S2 however..yeaah..the problem there is by that point stuff that happened in S1 wasn't present in S2, so SWE essentially had to come up with their own stuff off "Oh, how this game is just as busted as SAO was" and it really doesn't work, combined with there isn't any threat with people dying. Not helped by some of the jokes they had...like the whole "what does the fox say" bit or this whole schtick off "Oh, one player is secretly gay for his friend and made this whole head canon fan fiction for his friends PC"

I really enjoy the first season, the first two episodes of season 2 are rough and I've not yet bothered with the third. I think the show didn't have anywhere to go after telling a complete story in the original season, and they don't have anything to make up for that either.

First season is great though, I think they do a great job of telling a love story between two full blown sociopaths.

I didn't mind the "fanfiction" stuff towards the end, but there was a definite decline in the quality of the jokes after Cell became Perfect.

If you say so. Again, I never really got into it enough to care either way, so an abridged series of it really didn’t appeal to me.

Grant used to get pretty edgy too especially when Lani's not around and he still runs the gaming side. I'm not sure how much him and Kirran stream with the actual abridging group any more though since I haven't watched any new LPs or streams of theirs since Kaiser and Lani playing Kakarot turned out so shitty.

I think the reason they kicked him out, was because TFS was now trying to paint themselves more "woke" or some crap like that. I mean, for fuck sake they went to apologize for some jokes they made in HUA or having that whole gig where Alucard says how hating Twilight was dumb and childish.
