It looks like the forum software is back to showing everyone what your old usernames used to be. I know for a moment null had it set up with a message about not knowing why it's even a thing, maybe an update reset it?
I'm curious why he blocked that feature in the first place. Isn't it useful to know if someone has changed their identity?
Yes, but it defeats the purpose of null letting people change their usernames after the data leak that happened a couple years ago.

Does anyone else have trouble uploading videos today?
For me, the "insert video" option doesn't work properly.
Some hours ago, it did what it always does, count upwards the % uploading, then "loading video" and all is nice.
Now I get "uploading" - and nothing happens. It uploads and uploads, without success.
So far I've unsuccessfully tried:
having lots of patience (has helped in the past),
uploading random parts of a spoilered list (sometimes that worked out, whatever)
restarting browser,
changing browser (firefox, brave),
rebooting computer,
deleting cookies
logging off and on for KF.

How many megabytes is the video?
Also if you drag the video file into a brand new tab, does the browser play it okay? It could be related to codecs.
The video plays nicely if dragged into a new tab.
The megabytes have been no prob for the rest of these, I often go a bit over the 100MB and it worked fine.
Although I could go look into that if the problem doesn't resolve. Thanks!
If I go over the max. MB it normally says "an error occured" and it won't even start uploading.
Update: Problem solved. It was indeed due to dumbness/ big file size. When splitting, the software gave me some files over 200 MB and I hadn't looked at every single one of them.
Between 120 and 150 MB filesizes were uploaded successfully. Just had to do some more splitting.

I just want to say that I'm not doing it intentionally, and have no clue how it's happening. I think it may have something to do with how things look in the post editor to degenerate phoneposters such as myself.
If this is a major annoyance, I hope that's a clue as to why it keeps happening.

Same. I have had this remarked on a few posts myself and I am a degenerate phone poster as well.
Update: this is now fixed for me. If this was human intervention, thanks for the quick response on that!
Sites not loading on desktop for me for the past couple of hours but its fine on my phone. I'm using brave. Is this happening to anyone else?
