See, I'm a big superhero fan and I grew up watching the original, and I gotta say even though i don't really watch cartoons much, this show ain't bad. Even if it's goofy as hell it's actually closer to the original teen titans comics than the original series since they made Tera a psychotic traitor instead of a sad girl, and they even reference a few older and more obscure stories and characters. Of course I dont actually care all that much about it since I moved on and stopped caring about the old show and I don't watch cartoons a lot anymore, but I can appreciate the way they make fun of all the angry manbabies that follow the show the way they do.

I kinda admire the fact that these guys get paid to fuck with manbabies on the Internet. That's the kind of thing I wanna do for a living.

Community sub forum basically becomes Entersphere whenever cartoons are the group being mocked. It's honestly to the point where I'd think it might not even be worth it to have cartoon threads, among other reasons

This cartoon in particular attracts a particular kind of anti fan which makes it more aggressive and spergy, but it didn't get Plagued for no reason.

Here is an interview done with one of the producers about the Young Justice crossover episode. I love how the producers of the show is taking the piss on their hatedumb. They strive to make the show more and more stupid since they know they will never appeal to the hatedumb.
This does seem like a very in-joke heavy episode, which "Teen Titans Go!" has done before and which "Batman: The Brave & The Bold" did occasionally, but this one also has the highest potential to blow up online. Have you prepared yourself for the response you may get on the Internet?

Yeah, I think we're prepared. When we did a similar episode in "Brave & The Bold," we were a lot more gentle about it. It was, "Hey, give us a chance! We're not that far from what you guys like." With this show, we don't feel there's any chance we can win those people over. [Laughs] So this episode isn't about winning them over. They hate the show, and they're always going to hate the show. This is not what the older comic fan wants to see being done with these characters. It's a kids show, and we embrace it in this episode. I always say that the show is super stupid, and in this one, we push the stupidity and the randomness. So there's going to be a reaction, I expect.

I just hope the kids like it
In the article the guy mentions that the show is popular among their younger audience (children) it is the older audience that has certain expectations (entitlement).

Take a look at the reviews on Common Sense media supposedly done by children, these reviews were not written by kids

the show is lame in my opinion, and i dont understand why common sense media gave it a 4 out of five,i mean seriously wtf, teen titans(the original one),whether you like it or not,had episodes that were actually excellent and well-written with characters that are likeable and you could actually care about, while in the 2013 version cyborg and beast boy(*sniff* *sniff* beast boy is my fave male character in the original teen titans *sniff*)are annoying idiots, especially in waffles, where(spoilers alert) they turn into freaking pokemon by saying the word waffles all over and over again.there is also "boys vs girls" which is such a stupid episode but im not saying you have to hate it.

Disgrace!
This show feels like it teases me and laughs and taunts me. It has inappropriate jokes, bad advice, disturbing content, and the list goes on. The creators apparently said they never watched the original, which was most likely a lie, since they got a scene from the movie and voiced over it. This is not humor.

4? 4? what the heck!? THIS IS THE WORST SHOW EVER!!!
UN educational, will make your kids dumb, cliched and unoriginal, this show has idiotic humor made by brodies and takes the one thing I could salvage from my childhood, burns it, and makes me eat the ashes for breakfast. I HATE IT. It even steals from shows like hogans heroes and seinfeld, thus turning genius annoying. One of the jokes is that the voice of raven played a my little pony character. (BRODIE CREATORS.) We laughed at how all the nazis in hogans heroes were jewish because it was so original and no one has though of it before. Here, ITS A CLICHE! A CLICHE! if you want your kids to be smart, show them the original. If you want to raise a pervert, show them this.

I miss the old teen titans...
What happened to the old teen titans? What is this garbage that it has turned into? I remember when I used to watch the old version as a little kid. *sigh* honestly though. I don't like the animating style, or that every single episode ends in some weird alternate ending. The charecters are all so annoying now, and they aren't true to their old selves. I just want the old teen titans back...

Teen Titans Go! does well with its actual target audience, and the intent of making it more wacky was to break away from the trend of making children's shows so dark and gritty. The darker and grittier shows were not doing well supposedly which was one of the factors in why they broke away from that.

I meant as in the writers get so distracted pissing off the manbabbys and critics that they forget to entertain the kids (some cartoons have this problem).

The hate for TT Go is just unbelievable. Most of the haters to me, take cartoons seriously. It's just a TV show, even my niece loves it!

And of course, there's hate art out there as we know.

Since no one has gone here, fuck it.

Do not sperg out.

Just like the haters on DA, MrEnter beats a dead horse when bashing TT Go.

They do think it killed Teen Titans (the original), and some other show (Young Justice, I think?).

To answer your question, the original TT show ended after changing tastes prevailed. Young Justice was canned due to declining ratings, the market for action cartoons with little-to-no humor declined (not to mention expensive, since funnier shows are cheap to make), and Dreamworks Dragons-Riders of Berk took their timeslot (as of this writing, Dragons has moved to Netflix.)

The natural order of life is that if you still like animation past 12, you switch to anime. Western animation will never be meant for adults asside from comedy. They should really be watching Naruto or something.

All animation is ultimately for babbies. The difference is, the babbies become depraved somewhere along the line and so they are more or less forced to switch to Chinese cartoons out of necessity.

All long as it's entertaining I don't give a shit about what kind of show it is; anime or otherwise. If you're watching the show religious and making connections that aren't there in a desperate attempt to seem edgy and cool, aka bronies or gemtlemen, then you're a little obsessive. If you're watching a show to get your rocks off them please, never leave your fucking house again you sick fuck.

That's retarded, turn off the tv or change the channel. Go to the Goodwill and buy a DVD of a cartoon if they're so into cartoons

They're the kinds of people who turn the TV to cartoon network before Adult Swim, of course they can't handle that. Most of them probably don't want to steal their parents credit card to buy a DVD of the original show they cherish so much.

There was another show that's widely hated among cartoon spergs on the Internet - Breadwinners, I think - that someone tried to convince me was bombing with the kids due to the reviews on Common Sense Media. I checked out the supposed "kid reviews" - most of them were written by teens or adults passing as kids. What kid would say one episode is a ripoff of another SpongeBob episode, except a severely autistic one?

Only adults were watching the dark-'n'-gritty stuff enough that they're still butthurt about it.

Since no one has gone here, fuck it.

Oh fuck... It begins...

Make a Johnny Test Hatedom thread. Any cluster of adults who get frothing mad over cartoons aimed at children are pathetic lolcows.

That show's been over for a while, so there aren't a lot of people getting mad over it anymore. (Frankly, one of these is enough.)

If these people hate Teen Titans Go so much why don't they just not watch it

Because whining about it is so much more preferable...
