SWEETMERCYSOEDGY!
Also yall fag-enablers notice something?

Nigger-starfire was only in the trailer for a fucking split second despite the fact that
a) she has traditionally been the one paired with dick grayson in all teen titans autism media before
b) she was turned into a hobo lookin sheboon in order to woke-market the film and thus will almost certainly be shilled to hell and back in the show

This implies that the execs saw the initial backlash against her and instead threw everything that didnt involve her in the new marketing.....which may well mean the shit with her is even more of a cringefest than the shit the trailer shows

Is there a claus somewhere that I am unaware of that requires live action DC shows to be utter garbage?

Why is there such a chasm of quality between stuff like Batman: The Animated Series, alot of the DC animated movies, and shit like this, Green Arrow, and fucking Gotham?

because the people making these live action shows know that they can produce something awful and people will still flock to see it

Sigh...

Why does every teen movie have to be "dark and mature" and have a crappy pop teen song playing in the background.

Live action can work for some shows.

In this case, it doesnt.

Also where's my man cyborg?

And are they trying to pair Robin and Raveb together?
Cyborg's supposed to appear in the terrible doom patrol show.

I think this is the first time I saw a trailer I absolutely felt nothing with. Even trailers for bad movies have something good with them sometimes. Here, it feels soulless.

The main problem I already see with the movie is the same problem I see with every other YA novel adaptation-to-film. It's trying waaayyyy too hard to be mature without understanding what mature is. Instead of telling a mature story, just dress up your character in outdated 2006 emo trends and use a dark background! Trust me when I say young teens are going to eat this shit up.

Another issue is that the costume design is terrible. I know it's been talked to death before about it, but none of these designs fit the roll for their characters. None of them. The costume design is just utter garbage and it really sells the point that the film is just cheap and trashy.

I can't see how this is going to be good.

- "Where's Batman?" "Fuck Batman."
- "My mom used to tell me there's no such thing as monsters." "I used to think that."
- "Sometimes, when I feel the darkness... it feels good."
- Raven looks like a young, emo version of Tommy Wiseau
- Starfire... Starfire is just an absolute mess

I would rather jerk off to Zone's "interpretation" of Teen Titans than watch any more of this garbage.
at least Beast Boy has green skin

The dialogue sounds like they stole it from Shadow the Hedgehog

Ok, realtalk. Live-action DC stuff isn't just going to work nowadays, and here's why. The source materials themselves have left behind the family-friendly image that stuff like the Superman films drew on. It shows. Pretty much every DC film is drab, boring, and desaturated now.

Really, I would like to see something that looks like the 1980s Flash Gordon.
