Tell me about small nice towns in the USA. - Cruising U.S.A Theme

You sound paranoid. Maybe the reason your town was like that was... people like you?
What? I was saying that is how my town and a few others I've been to, were. So me recognizing that and typing out what I've seen makes me paranoid? Legit I would move in and everyone was just short with me for months, heck even got told they didn't like me for x reasons.

In short alot of big city people came in. Made drugs there and caused problems very often. Hence the suspicion

Well, they're white. If you move there they will be less white, and thus less nice. I also assume you'll vote for the same dumb Democrat policies that ruined wherever you're moving from. Most small towns in America (via the home owner's association, generally) will veto your residence with the above facts in mind.

My advice takes the form of a song:

I see we live in the same fantasy world as the SJWs, just on the other side of the fence.

Lambertville and New Hope on the Pennsylvania/NJ state lines.
Would give my left arm to go back there.
They've become extremely overpriced as more and more artfags move in, but River Horse Brewery is an underrated gem.

Northwestern NJ, i.e. Sussex, Warren, Morris, and Western Passaic Counties are very nice, with beautiful mountains and woodland. The only problems are the massive amounts of white tailed deer, the high Lyme Disease occurrence, and the Democrats taxing the entire state into oblivion.

Initially I read your post as if you were one of those townspeople suspicious of all these newcomers, paranoid about the "outsiders," and fearing "there goes the country side" because of their arrival.

But actually your explanation makes it even worse. You thought an entire town was against you because a few people didn't like you? Yeah, that is paranoid. I mean, if you're that judgmental about everyone in town it probably showed through in your interactions and treatment of them. No wonder they were short with you.

If I read your post correctly, this has happened more than one time. If it keeps happening to you in different towns, do you think it could be you that's the problem? If you move to a new town and quickly people don't like you and it happens consistently, perhaps you're giving off that antagonistic vibe to everyone and giving them a legit reason to dislike you.

Let me know when whites make a community, country or continent worse, not better.

Also, unironically, the USSR.

I'm not going to defend myself with every little detail of my life to prove a point.

It was a quick tldr of what I saw because someone asked what they MIGHT see. And it wasn't just me. Just about every new person had this issue for a few months.

I guess you ignored the part where I said they didn't like new people because they didn't know if I was yet another person there to make drugs and cause issues? Cause one town it was a common issue.

After the first year or less it went away. I guess you blew past that too. Not only that it was very common to hear people at the bars complain about it as well.

Results may vary depending the town. Not every down I said is like that. Just most. Moving into a smaller town is different than visiting or growing up in one.

Just thought I'd give a heads up encase it does happen, that it's not forever and just what some towns do if it does happen. If thats paranoia then I guess being aware of what might happen is an issue

I'll take me MATI and autism ratings now

Hijacking the thread to ask if a wandering brit/euro fag could find a home in the US. I have a dumb specialist niche job, can't drive, deaf, white, gay, fairly conservative, boring. Had to refuse a job offer in Washington recently. Florida was kind to me in the past but the climate tried to kill me.
I like the coast :) . Would learn to drive if needed.

Smallest town I've ever lived in for an amount of time was Speculator, NY. Has the basics in town (everything else is 1hr south). Great in the Summer probably brutal in the winter.

the summers on the East Coast are uniformly awful. There are several cities where you dont need a car, these being New York, Boston, DC, and to some extent, Chicago. New Yorks rough and overpriced, Chicago is ok in the Downtown, and DC is probably going to revert to the hellscape it was in the 70s and 80s. Boston's your best bet, even though it's nearly as pricey as NY, and you may have to deal with the Irish lads giving you shit (actual Irish, not our homegrown diluted variety). However, if you want to live like a normal human being at an affordable price, you need to move to the suburbs, and that means learning how to drive

EDIT: Also depends on what your specialization is in, which will affect which cities are most available job market wise.

Thanks for the info. I almost moved to Chicago, about a decade ago, and I've regretted not going ever since. I'm going to have to give in and learn to drive, I guess, if I want to move to the US and have that suburban open space I covet. I'm just used to living in walkable dinky little European cities. I know fuck all about Boston but I will add that to my list of sites to look at for labs that want me. It's the US or Germany and I know where I want to end up, tbh.
