TERFs are like strict Calvinist fundamentalists except they think that sinful nature, total depravity, the Fall, all that stuff only applies to males. I understand how traumatized women end up in that headspace, but it is a bad place for them to stay for long. Not least of which because there are plenty of fucked up lezzies in that crowd who will traumatize them all over again. And when an angelic wombyn-loving-wombyn treats you like shit, what hope does that leave for you?

Read the tone, they are advertised as angels, doesn't mean they really are.
Every time I have peeked into the world of radfemmery the obviously troubled, alcoholic, aggro chicks are abundant, but the narrative is such that all problems lead back to Men so they basically run amok unchecked.

I have a friend who identifies as a terf, and she explained it to me like this. That they want to remove gender as a qualifier in certain aspects of life and profession. Like if a woman wants to be a cop she should be viewed as a cop, not as a female cop. That genitals should have a minimal presence in your day to day life and shouldnt be used as a part of defining who you are as a person. And I can respect that idea.
Thier issue with some trans folks are that they want the opposite. They want their gender to be front and center in their lives. They want to increase the number of people who that have "oppression" and that its ultimately a bunch of men who want to engage in voluntary recreational oppression for attention and that it really fucks up the leveled playing field feminists claim to want.
And while not all feminists or terfs have this specific viewpoint I can certainly see why the ones that do hate this bullshit by people like Yaniv.

Isn't gender, overall, a made up notion? Or at least, over exaggerated? The concept of gender comes from the idea that, your behavior doesn't necessarily matches your genitals, and that applies to less than 1% of the population, enough for them to be considered an exception rather than a rule.
Also, that whole behavior is very random. Wearing a dress and make up makes you a woman, apparently.

No, gender is about your genitals. They just want to change meaning of words to make it easier to change peoples thoughts. The left is going for a psyop to make people think they're correct rather than actually working towards being correct.

She is a feminist who thinks trannies are devestating to the philosophy she supports. I believe she uses the term terf as an adequate descriptor but I doubt she gets a newsletter from the ancient and venerable international sorority of terfs. Or whatever groups they have. She is in fact rational enough to never speak her mind publicly on any of that because she knows theyd jump down her throat.
She's probably a so-called "terf" (ie, a sensible woman) but not an actual radical feminist who entertains ideas like "all women are natural lesbians and heterosexuality is an imposed social construct," etc.

It doesn't take much to be labelled a TERF nowadays, you can even respect pronouns and be kind to those freaks and they're still going to call you a murdering TERF if you even begin to criticize the superficial concept of gender or one of their members.
Same thing with the SWERF label, even if you were a sex worker yourself with negative experiences, you're still labelled a monster and silenced because the 0.02% of sex workers who enjoy their work should speak for everyone!
