The thing with GC is that it's one of the only places of reddit that will allow discussions about the trans issues. It's pulling a lot of people in, that want somewhere to work out what the hell is going on.
The unfortunate part is that because it does tend to be 'female only' there are a hell of a lot of man haters. It is to be expected being that there is a high proportion of lesbians on there, and for the most part I just glaze over their comments. They are the worst of the GC community, and only turn people off trying to learn more about the underlying issues, issues that are very real, and have consequences for whole classes of society.
Their existence is something that needs to be widely known and not condemned, no matter how many of them you don't agree with.

i am just plain impressed with the terves, like i would be by anyone else who could tell the future. how did they know? part of it was the early terfery from Janis Raymond, Mary Daley & those feminist writers. but some of this was sheer instinct & superior analysis. they were on top of it in a way the rest of us were not.

The predictions weren't "some tranny somewhere will be a pedo" though. They were very specific about exactly what would happen and they were right every time.

So whoever said the r/gc terfs "discovered" archiving because of us, no that's not correct. They don't allow "right wing" direct postings and haven't since at least early 2016. They require you to put them in an archive first so that they don't give these sources "views." Consequently, when they were talking about Jon Yaniv--and they didn't for most of the first half of this year--any links besides to their terf-adjacent blogs HAD to be archived this way (meaning most of them) and it's still the case AFAIK.
