What woman would want to freely dispense hostility to innocent strangers that way? Why does this guy get to wrap himself in a cloak of potential male violence and make everyone cower before the outrageous things he might do to them if they dare tell him 'No, fuck YOUR feelings'? Why am I, once again, at the pointy end of some males random rage at the world? Why do we have to live this way?
So then I got to the store! And every song... every song they played, was either about a man begging a woman he hurt for forgiveness, or about a man leaving a woman because he found someone better, or a man criticizing women for wanting relationships, or a woman putting herself back together after being hurt by a man, or a woman wondering if this time she's really found true love. Just regular pop songs. It was SO FUCKED UP- this gentle brainwashing being poured into peoples ears as they try to shop for washcloths and frying pans. And no one else noticed- this is NORMAL. It was like the movie 'they live' except the hidden messages I was seeing and hearing were 'just give in, its natural' 'women should be hurt by men' 'women love, men hate'.
I'm not sure how to cope with this- I feel like an open wound right now. How am I going to be able to reintegrate with this world that clearly hates me? Is anyone else in the same boat?

I was wondering this too, I think it's to do with how ridgid and cult like TERFism is, they do not tolerate any even slight deviation from the approved dogma. Lurking on r/GenderCritical any criticsm of women was strictly verboten, no matter how stupid or fucked up a thing that a woman had done, even right wing women who they hated. Anyone who had a bad word to say about women was set upon by the GC mob and the mods heavily modded any dissenting opinions.

So I suppose it's quite liberating for them being here where they can speak freely and criticise the sort of ridiculous women documented in BP who's stupid decisions have ruined their lives, rather than making endless excuses about them being victims of men/society/'the patriarchy'.
