For the longest time, there have only been a handful of well-known online streamers hailing from Finland – usually focusing on video games, they have mainly populated platforms like Twitch. As a recent development however, YouTube has been getting its fair share of those who wish to share bits of their daily life with strangers.
”RappioTube” refers to this new, loose community of NEET streamers leading decadent, booze and drug-filled lifestyles online. (’Rappio’ is Finnish for ’decadence/degeneration’, ’rappiolla’ basically refering to any sort of perceived ”lowlife” conditions)
One of its personalities is Tero Pekkanen, better known as ’TampereenTero’ (literal translation: Tero from Tampere. Abbreviating his name to ’TT’ in most instances from now on).
TampereenTero is a 25+ year old, somewhat mentally challenged alcoholic, living on disability pension in the city of Tampere, who rose to prominence mere weeks ago for being associated with fellow streamer ’Upi’ (real name Arttu Pulkkinen) on Upi’s Discord server.

I am well aware that ”Finnish alcoholic” isn’t exactly something out of the ordinary. But TT has through his behavior on camera – both drunken and sober – brought attention to himself by...
1. Harassing people; following them around, including apparent minors, getting in everyone's face, slapping security guards, groping men and (especially) women
”Tero harasses some girls and tries to call a cab”
”Tero slaps a security guard”
2. Being loud and annoying to the point of getting
a) into many fistfights with strangers who aren’t too keen on being recorded,
”TampereenTero receives a beating”
(Same title as previous video, different circumstances)
b) arrested or have firefighters called to his house,
”TampereenTero causes trouble at a hotel and the police show up”
”TampereenTero receives his fourth ban from a shopping mall in Tampere”
c) evicted from an apartment complex that’s reserved for junkies and hobos in a few weeks from now.
Translation of the highlighted area: ”The tenant has repeatedly caused damage with his behavior and/or risked hurting other tenants (of the apartment complex), staff and the organization responsible for the housing services.”
Note that all of the above has occurred in the span of a MONTH, from late July til the middle of August.
Does he actually have any mental illness?
Yes, according to his own words ”not schizofrenia, but non-organic psychosis”. Also he ”doesn’t have autism, only characteristics of it. I also have dysphasia (a developmental issue with speech and language) which was already diagnosed when I was in kindergarten.”

Why does he choose to stream at all?
Money plays a huge part in all of this. As you can see from the Streamlab donations on his videos, a number of fools keep sending him money for whatever reaction they expect, or for more booze, TT's rent &c. He's already made over 5000 euros since he started streaming, so why bother ending it now?
Why make this thread in English?
While TT does his streams almost exclusively in Finnish, you won’t need much interpreting to what he says or does. His vocabulary is mainly comprised of swearing and his own Teroisms, which I’ve taken the liberty to gather under the headline below:
Dictionary over TampereenTero-related lingo and memes
Bätäng – Slang word for ’sexy’, used extensively by TT and fans whenever he meets hot women in public.
Jonne/Veeti – Derogatory names for pre-teens and teenagers who spend most of their time acting like idiots, driving bikes, drinking energy drinks and so on. In TT’s case, fans tend to blurt the word at those who disrupt streams or hinder good ”kkontent” from being created.
Kiuas – Finnish for ’sauna stove’, something that TT likes to yell out (”KIUAS KAUAS”) loud during streams. He has subsequently been given the title of ’Harvian toimitusjohtaja’ by fans. Harvia is a Finnish stove producer, which sort of explains the first video of this post.
Kkontent – Teroified version of the word ’content’. Refers specifically to quality content during streams (TT being arrested or removed from business establishments &c.) by both TT and viewers. Common phrases: ”
LAUKKU JÄI! – ’FORGOT YOUR BAG!’. One of the many things people say/write to fuck with TT once he leaves a bar or other place, just to see if he panics and thinks he actually forgot his belongings.
Pompullat – Law enforcement. Much of TT’s streams out in public consist of him worrying about them showing up.
Putka – Jail. On one hand one of TT’s worst fears, on the other a guarantee for a successful stream in the eyes of the audience. The amount of times he’s been arrested in August is hard to get a clear number on, but it’s probably around 10–15.
VT – Vieraileva Tähti, ’guest star’, one or more people making prominent contributions to any of TT’s streams.
Recent habbenings (21.8.2019)
-Tero got suckerpunched on the nose by a jonne while streaming on 16.8.2019, possibly cracking it.
-Tero confirmed on stream that he is indeed getting evicted due to his ”troubling behavior” in the apartment complex. The document (as inserted above) was signed on 16.8.

What does the future hold for the Ten Ton Terror of Tampere?
Apparently, his plan is to start studying at college sometime this fall. It’s still unclear where or if he’s actually applied somewhere yet.
Considering all of the issues he’s faced during the past month, it remains to be seen if he’s going to continue this YouTube career of his, and if so, manage to stabilize his life until his studies.
As stated earlier, on the upcoming Friday (23.8.2019) by 4 PM, TampereenTero has been ordered to move out from his current apartment due to constant complaints from his neighbors leading to the undoing of his rental agreement. It's not known for how long they’ve been forced to tolerate his antics, but the decision seems to have been made in the beginning of this month – the noise caused by his drunken streams seem to have been the last straw for them.

Edit: I had to remove a few videos of his arrests, fights and other interactions for exceeding the limit of 10 embedded videos in the post. There are still many, many instances of him doing all of these things during the month of August.
