pride/political shit is annoying but you can usually skip those options. a lot of them even have them in their own tabs for easy skipping! What is annoying is the 45894 skintones where everything darker than "white person with a slight tan" is ashy and gross lookign and if theyre not using black for their lineart you can't use any of the darker skintones anyway because they look like ass.
But the worst part of western picrews is how many of them upload FFUCKING WIPS
Why can't they just complete the fucking thing and upload it all at once??!? hate clicking on one that looks mildly interesting/may have the obscure options i am looking for and it turns out they have a body and like 2 hairs

1:

The clothing options fucking suck donkey balls, artist needs to invest in studying fashion to improve their art.

2:

Can instantly taste the JJBA influence and had to mess with the D-Pad a lot to get facial features in their correct positions.
Hair often lacks a matching front/back part of the same texture. The hairs are generally fugly and the artist has no sense of the economy of lines.
The blushes for darker skintones don't work.
Pretty sucky clothing options again but they do come in larger sizes which is a bonus even if the actual Fat Base looks like it has severe edema

3:

It has a SBaHJ reference in the mouths so I am immediately biased.
---Formal correction: Nevermind there are Dave Strider and WtNV shirts.
Again multiple body types and color options have been limited to accommodate this.
If you choose the right facial features the big face doesn't look horrible.

Why.

4:

With a whole lot of trying you can make something very cute but if you don't want to spend the time it is completely irreconcilable and the face hatching is a mess. Annoying transgender content such as "cisn't".

5:

Easy to make something decent. Lots of good options but little d-pad use.
Blush looks like shit. No options to change freckle/mole color to suit skintone.

6:

There is no earthly way to make anything vaguely normal out of this picrew. That's probably the point but what the fuck.
I think I only managed to make a Soul Eater character.
The afro texture options are all grayish, also.

7:

"Instantly better than the last one," I think. I then press one button and the entire thing breaks:

There are Naruto and Danganronpa references.
The palms of the hands on darker skintones are not lighter, very problematic SMH
I can't hate this one, it seems pretty self aware.

Chemicataclysm gets a lot of hate on tumblr. They're insane.
I was on their mod account, transguy-dolokhov (Now deleted) and doing some digging.
I found a google doc they were using instead of a discord server for their fans of mostly children.
I used Draftback and a throwaway email to read it since it was abandoned.

They talked about how Chemicataclysm alerted all of their fans whenever they took a piss, and they have a history of drawing child gore / porn.
They're definitely crazy, and me and a lot of other people are waiting for them to inevitably light themselves on fire. Their discord server also has private rooms, and I don't like that much either. I remember they were talking about toes.

Not sure if you'd find this interesting, but because of how much of a scumbag they are, i'd definitely say seeing children using their piccrew makes me frown a bit. It's fucked. I'm sure how crazy they are will come to light one day, since the piccrew made them pretty popular - but a lot of people are aware they're like this, and the anon hate they get is hilarious and their political takes are even worse.

Light digging should reveal some of this information yourself if you're curious.
