Holy shit, how stupid do you gotta be to brag about your backup harddrive in the online equivalent of the "Town Square" after being arrested and given bail? There's an almost innocent level of idiocy with Thad that I think causes people to let their guard down with him. The defining moment for me, and I'd imagine many others, is when he bragged about his backup cp drive right after being released the first time. It's such an absurd and comical setup that it seems more like something out of a TV show than real life. It's make it easy for people to dissociate the reality of his crimes even if they dont realize it. At the end of the day Thad is fucked in the head, and while hes fucked in the head in a way that can be really funny, be still partook in some pretty heinous shit and his crimes were very real.

Well put. My first response to his legal saga was to largely dismiss it. Something like "lol, outed himself lol, he's too tarded to be frightening." Even now, it's tempting to dismiss him as merely a weirdo, unlikely to reoffend, and overlook the fact that he beat off to kids being sexually abused and bragged about it.

Hapless tards aren't necessarily any less sinister I guess.

According to Static-99, he's about average - but the STAT99 is more for real sex offenders and so far (ugh) Thad hasn't progressed past child porn and sperging about his sick fantasies. And unfortunately he's a Tier 1 offender so he'll only be 54 when he can get off the sex offender registry.

Speaking of... Thad's non-compliant with the registry at the moment for not paying his annual fee, so he could end up back in jail on a misdemeanor charge if the cops ever need a reason to lock him up for a while.
