It’s politics, basically. Without going into too much detail, it’s one of those types of jobs that has been notoriously difficult to get fired from once you get it. She’s managed to fly under the radar I guess but no one has been able to give a good answer as to why she’s still there. Supposedly she’s has a thick ass file folder of complaints and warnings and write ups. She had something like 1000 minutes of lateness and 38 call outs in one year. Which if you look at the handbook, she should have been terminated for that never mind the other stuff.

Very important people have tried to get rid of her multiple times yet she’s still managed to stay. I have my suspicions but I don’t know enough yet. It’s difficult to work with her because of her lack of communication as well as lack of a soul, any type of common courtesy, etc.

Example, There is a log we have to maintain daily. We count the number of X there is after the previous shift and sign the bottom. I counted them and signed my name. She goes into the file, deletes my name and signs hers. Why? Who the fuck knows. There’s a door that sort of slams if you don’t catch it. Apparently she thinks I’m slamming the door on purpose and “asked” me not to do so, she’s also always fucking cold so she will close all the windows without asking anyone else how they feel. Bitch, you can put on a sweater, can you not?

Honestly if she would just ask I would be fine with her closing the windows. She’s just so petty. You’re like almost 60, why the fuck are you so petty? I can’t stand petty people. (In real life, of course. Petty on the internet can be funny.)

Also, the bitch doesn’t even work. When it’s 3 of us, she will do one or two things she feels “comfortable” doing and ignore the rest. My other coworker didn’t even get to take a lunch because she didn’t do shit the whole time. Apparently she thinks printing out a couple of reports is enough work for her to do.

It’s hilarious because my supervisor told me she confided into him that she doesn’t know why people don’t talk to her.

When she’s in the office, the day will drag and drag. When it’s just me and my supervisor and another dude, the day will fly by. She brings this fucking thick ass aura of misery. She truly kills the mood and vibe of everyone. I don’t know how she manages it to be honest.

The first took a disliking to me for no reason. I just transferred and she found me annoying - that was it. I was good at my job but trained completely differently to what that store wanted at first, I brought new stuff to the store but struggled slightly with their procedures and from my first day on shift with her she loved to let me know. At first, I tried to make small talk with her and she looked at me like I was odd. I legit thought we were going to get along because she seemed funny and like a total chatterbox.

She was the longest standing staff member at that store (not in the company, but at that store) and just did her own thing. People seemingly adored her. Like, she'd just be rude and everyone would fall over laughing 'HAHAHAHA YOU'RE SO GREAT HAHAHAHA SASSY GORL' when she was incredibly rude and lazy.

She would fuck up majorly and not get in trouble. I got one 'write up' during my time in that company, towards me leaving (that I really shouldn't have gotten) and she brought it up constantly. We were both senior but anytime I made a mistake she would bitch out to me about it and she wouldn't take it back. She made me cry (in secret) on many occasions, I actively swapped shifts to get away from her.

She was overly sexualised and whored about, she bullied one of our managers until he had to quit. However, she was also a 'geeky' girl and liked Harry Potter, Marvel and Game of Thrones so it was okay that she was a whore, yano? I felt like I was the only person (beyond that one manager, probably) that saw her as a horrible person and because I am naturally quite an anxious person she fucking knew it.

This next girl was is just pure evil. She's super fake, she has that voice and most generic interests ever - puppies and Disney and pop punk and fart jokes and not being like every other girl, ofc. At first, I liked her, I thought she was a bit silly and we never worked together that much for me to have anything more than an 'ah she's nice' opinion of her.

She recruited a clique and turned everyone in the shop against one another, she became a vicious bully who got very cozy with management, her full-time colleagues, 'the boys' (in a shop of full of girls) and obviously her clique. It got so bad that people tried to report this to management and because they liked her, and because she had fake-ass anxiety, it was overlooked. When she fell out with someone, or caused a big drama she would act all innocent and label them as a 'really horrible person' within about 8 months literally about 60% of the store quit because of her. Her clique remained and everyone else hated her guts. BUT GUESS WHAT? Because she was a trusted employee she got to hire new staff and she hired a bunch of teenage fuckboys who wanked all over her in their interviews and they were all shit but ya know, they wanked all over her so it was fine.

I knew she hated me but she was always super fake with me because I never actively went against her. However, she was also super pass-ag to me whenever should could be. I am on this forum so obviously I am very nosey, I wouldn't say IRL I am malicious but I like gossip. If I was gossiping about anything, even if it was something she started, she would try and turn it on as me being the shit stirrer. Of course she HATED drama and would NOT GET INVOLVED (yet she would).

I got on very well with our managers and I would say I had a good relationship with our store manager - I had quite a lot of stuff going when I transferred so he knew quite a lot about my personal life. I think he had a bit of a (purely platonic) soft spot for me. He was a pretty reserved guy but disclosed the mental health issues he had to me and on top of that we liked a lot of the same stuff so we were always engaging in 2deep4u (but not rly) chats. The thing is, she HAD A MAJOR crush on him and did anything to work close to him. So, she couldn't hate me without pissing him off but I could tell she was super jealous that we got on beyond a simple employee-manager relationship.

Eventually, after what seemed like an age of very weird vibes between them at work, he quit and they became a couple and I fully believe she manipulated him. It would explain why she was allowed to go around ruining peoples lives and bullying without any punishment. It may seem like the obvious conclusion to say the contrary (male manager being creepy with female employee) but this bitch was twisted through and through and she wanted him. She caught him at a low point - he broke up with his long term partner and was looking to make a career change so was super down in the dumps - she actively altered her interests to suit his, she changed shifts to be with him and was generally just predatory with him. I am not saying he was innocent in all this but it did feel like she wanted him and played games with his mind for him to want her back.

Im guessing this is either a government job or a union job. If I were you I would transfer as soon possible without making waves.
